Shimura Danzō's reaction was beyond Hanzo's expectations.
He had thought the attitude he displayed toward the Root ninja would be enough to make Shimura Danzō back down.
Yet Shimura Danzō had not given up. Instead, he had come to the Land of Rain in person.

Hanzo stared at Shimura Danzō expressionlessly.
Shimura Danzō's face was somewhat gloomy, his one narrow eye not covered by bandages fixed on Hanzo.
Hanzo was displeased, and Shimura Danzō was equally displeased.
The plan to surround and kill Sōsuke for the Rinnegan was something he had kept from Hiruzen Sarutobi. The longer he remained active outside, the greater the chance Hiruzen Sarutobi would discover it.
Shimura Danzō had originally planned to come to the Land of Rain only when everything was prepared except for the actual encirclement, but Hanzo's attitude had forced him to come early.
"May I ask why Advisor Danzo has come to Amegakure?" Hanzo asked blandly.
Danzo was, after all, the Hokage Advisor. Hanzo could not truly start a fight with him.
Not unless Hanzo
