"Our Deception Technique doesn't seem that different from an ordinary Clone Technique."
During the break, Izumo Kamizuki could not help sighing.
"Yeah. Whether we turn into monsters or transform into the opponent, it's basically no different from an ordinary Clone Technique when facing an expert," Kotetsu Hagane said with a nod.
From the class practical battles to the grade-level battles, they had watched two fights involving Anko and Shisui.
From their perspective, Anko had already done well enough. Only after creating a clone in Shisui's likeness had she pulled off a real-and-fake Anko trick.
Even so, Anko had still failed to fool Shisui and had been defeated with ease.
"I still think we should follow my idea—instantly create enough clones to draw their attention, then strike while they're distracted." Kotetsu Hagane felt that his approach was not wrong; the monsters he created simply were not scary enough yet.
"But Izumo, you couldn't even beat Anko," Izumo Kamizuki objected.
"But I beat you, Kotetsu." Kotetsu Hagane pointed out that he had at least defeated Izumo Kamizuki.
"If you can beat Shisui, then I'll admit your idea has no problem." Izumo Kamizuki tried to shift the topic onto Shisui.
But Kotetsu Hagane had already seen through Izumo Kamizuki's intentions. He chuckled and said, "It's enough that I beat you, Kotetsu."
"Anko beat the crap out of you."
"I beat you." Kotetsu Hagane pressed the sore spot.
Izumo Kamizuki could not take it anymore. That final exam felt like a major failure in his life.
"You two really don't understand anything at all." Ebisu happened to overhear their conversation as he passed by. He pushed up the bridge of his sunglasses with one finger and spoke with a disdainful expression.
Such a good idea, yet they were using it to turn into monsters.
