Goddess Taiyuan swept her gaze over them and could not help sighing. "Though this Underworld is not as grand as the Heavenly Realm, it has its own hidden order."
Goddess Wangshu's gaze fell upon the three sealed residences nearby. Turning to the Heavenly Emperor, she asked, "What are these?"
Li Fan's expression was grave. "The Three Officials Great Emperors! Because of the Return to Ruins, the water element of the Primordial World has long been out of balance. Disaster has been brewing for some time; the gods simply failed to notice it."
Nuwa frowned, her tone solemn. "The Five Elements are the foundation of heaven and earth. The Four Seas do not have much of a problem yet, but the Heavenly River..."
Li Fan nodded and said in a low voice, "The current Heavenly River connects forty-five complete Great Thousand Worlds. Its waters are unimaginably violent, and Drowning Water has even emerged within it. There are also Innate Beings being born there."
Xihua, Changxi, and the others were deeply shocked upon hearing this. If the Heavenly River burst its banks and poured directly into the Prehistoric Universe, it would be no different from the force of dozens of Great Thousand Worlds crashing into the earth.
When that happened, cultivators below the Taiyi Golden Immortal realm would likely have no chance of survival anywhere the Heavenly River passed. Worse still, the waters were mixed with Weak Water; even those capable of flight would struggle to escape the calamity of sinking beneath it.
