This World Is Seriously Ill

Honestly, judging by sales and subscriber retention, this book was a failure. While I was writing it, the authors I knew had already moved on to three or four books. Many whose results were several times better than mine had dropped theirs. I'm envious.

Part of the reason I could finish it was my own belief that I shouldn't let down the plot and characters, and part was the encouragement and support from all you lovely readers afterward. I won't name everyone one by one here. At most, when I have time, I'll write some R-rated bonus scenes for you in the group.

Also, let me secretly tell you this: I actually hadn't played most of the games with material from NieR, Final Fantasy, Drakengard, Bloodborne, and League of Legends in them. But I made it look convincing in this book, right?

Sigh, my greatest regret was the final volume. Much of the planned plot, including the Salem Witch Trials, the operation at The Cabin in the Woods, The Dunwich Horror, and the final battle modeled after Infinity War, which was supposed to be elaborately written with grand, magnificent scenes, was mostly cut down.

But thankfully, the main plot remained intact, so I suppose I made up for my mistakes.

Spare this slacker's life. If fate allows, we'll meet again in the next book.

I expect to start publishing the next book between January 15 and 20.
