Background / History

Yun Yun lost her family when she was young. Yun Shan accepted her as his disciple and brought her to the Cloud Mist Sect, making him her only remaining family and the sect her home. When Yun Shan retired, she inherited the burden of maintaining the sect, though administrative responsibility repeatedly limited her cultivation time. 108

As Cloud Mist Sect Master, Yun Yun received Jia Xingtian during the sect's annual Disciple Grand Competition and later negotiated privately with Chen Guan. She exchanged the sect's Spirit Absorption for his pills and a Dou King puppet, treating him with formal courtesy despite their difference in status. 34 36

She became concerned after discovering signs that Yun Shan had been injured during secluded cultivation.
