The Demon Race's "rock demons" looked a little like the human race's "Rock Race," but in truth, they were worlds apart.
Rock demons' main bodies were stone. Based on some special spirit-particle item, they developed intelligence, cultivated a form, and were essentially "monsters."
The Rock Race's main bodies were human. They merely possessed a talent for affinity with the earth element, and even their skin bore some rocky characteristics, but they were essentially "humans."
Therefore, rock demons and the Rock Race belonged to their respective camps, with no ambiguity whatsoever.
The truly ambiguous ones were the Dragon-Man race that Jin Jiao belonged to.
Strictly speaking, the Dragon-Man race that Jin Jiao belonged to could reasonably be classified as either the "human race" or the Demon Race.
They were a small alien race independent of both
