On Shelving and Update Instructions

Although it's been placed on the fourth round of recommendations, after discussing with my editor, we've decided to officially launch the book on the first of next month. I'll briefly explain three points.

First, I want to thank my editor for their help with this book, and thank all the readers for following, voting, and giving rewards.

Second, updates and a request for first subscriptions.

Although the system says it will launch at midnight, I don't have the habit of staying up late. So, tomorrow at 1 PM, I'll release three chapters, each 4000 words, totaling 12,000 words.

Reader: That's not enough to read!

Me: It's simple, I'll just add more updates.

For the week after launch, from February 2nd to February 8th, I guarantee daily updates of 10,000 words. The update times will still be 1 PM and 7 PM. I'm not just saying this; I have draft manuscripts ready (hands on hips).

Reader: What about after those seven days?

After seven days, the minimum will be 6,000 words per day. Anything more will depend on the specific situation. If something unexpected comes up and I can only update 4,000 words, I will make up for the missing chapter later.

This also applies to the daily 10,000-word updates. Since it's during the New Year period, social obligations are unavoidable. If I'm delayed by an event, I will definitely make up for it later.

As for bonus updates for monthly votes, I won't be doing that for now. We'll see how the subscriptions and reader feedback go later.

Third, let me introduce myself and this book.

You can call me Lao Mao, or you can call me General (Loyal! Faithful!). I won't go into any sob stories or pretentious talk. I know everyone works hard for their money, and reading is meant to be a way to relax. I will do my best to write this book well, so we can all enjoy reading it together.

Finally, regarding this book, you should all be able to tell that it's set against the backdrop of the chaotic times of the late Tang Dynasty, featuring the man-eating demon king Huang Chao, the Heavenly King Li Keyong, Zhu Wen Zhu Quanzhong who will appear later, and the Demon Cultists of the Mingzun Cult.

And our protagonist, Li Cunxiao. This name wasn't chosen randomly, nor was his nickname Nezha. All these will be explained later.

I've always wanted to write a novel with a mythological historical theme, but as you all know, once high martial arts are introduced, it becomes difficult to explain the historical background. So, I had to create a fictional setting.

Although it's a fictional setting, I believe I've carefully researched the Taoist outer alchemy and Buddhist Esoteric schools of that era when setting the cultivation aspects. If you find it fresh and interesting as you read on, I will be very gratified that my work has been recognized.
