Although the system says it goes live at midnight, I don't have a habit of staying up late, so tomorrow at 1 p.m., I'll release three chapters at once, 4,000 words each—for a total update of 12,000 words.

For one week after it goes live—that is, from 2.2 to 2.8—I'll guarantee 10,000 words of updates every day. Updates will still be at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. I'm not just talking big; I have saved drafts. (Hands on hips.)

Readers: What about after those seven days?
After those seven days, the guaranteed minimum will be 6,000 words a day. Anything more will depend on the specific circumstances. If something comes up and I can only update 4,000 words, I'll make up the missing chapter afterward.
The same applies to the seven days of 10,000-word updates above. After all, it'll be during the New Year, and social obligations are hard to avoid. If something delays an update, I'll definitely make it up later.
As for extra chapters for monthly tickets and such, I won't do that for now. We'll see later based on subscriptions and everyone's feedback.
Third, let me introduce myself and this book.
You can call me Lao Mao, or you can call me General (Loy! Al!), and I won't go on about anything else like playing the victim or literary youth nonsense. I know it isn't easy for anyone to earn money, and people read to relax. I'll do my utmost to write this book well, so we can all read happily and enjoy ourselves together.

There is the cannibal king Huang Chao, the Vaisravana Heavenly King Li Keyong, and Zhu Wen, Zhu Quanzhong, who will make a grand entrance later, as well as the demonfolk of the Mingzun Cult.
And our protagonist, Li Cunxiao—his name was not chosen at random, nor was his childhood name, Nezha. Every planted thread will be gathered back in one by one later.
I've always wanted to create a novel in the mythological-history genre, but everyone understands: once high martial arts barges in, the historical backdrop becomes hard to explain. So I could only put a fictional skin over it.
Although it is fictional, as for certain characteristics of that era—especially the cultivation aspects—I believe I set them up only after seriously researching the Taoist external alchemy school and Buddhist Esoteric sects of the time. When you read further on, if you find it fresh and interesting, I'll be deeply gratified that my work has received recognition.
