Arc 20The Emperor’s Judgment
He-El returned to Three-Body Earth and faced an Autonomous Faction uprising seeking to abolish the throne. After most of humanity refused to pay him homage, he ordered a mass execution, and Leon’s coup ended in defeat as He-El’s forces slaughtered the rebels and civilians.
- He-El arrived on Three-Body Earth, punished soldiers who failed to salute him, and learned from Honor that humanity had grown resentful of his rule.
- He-El ordered the Solar System to prepare for war and commanded Leon to make everyone see him and kneel, while the Autonomous Faction planned to abolish the Emperor.
- He-El showed Cheng Xin the faction’s plans and told her to introduce him at the New Year’s Eve event, where the crowd and viewers largely rejected his authority.
- At the palace-square broadcast, He-El projected images of people across the nine planets and waited as only eight percent of humanity paid homage to him.
- Leon and the Autonomous Faction launched a coup, attacking He-El’s guards with mechs, mist, ability users, and defecting Warriors of the Willpower Corps.
- He-El ordered the execution of everyone who had not paid homage, while Li Xi obeyed him, Fan-Ze led the Kryptonian warriors forward, and Honor destroyed the four mechs.
- Machines and guards massacred civilians across the nine planets as Wade and Zhang Beihai fought the rebels, and He-El blamed the Autonomous Faction for humanity’s destruction.
- Fan-Ze stopped Leon as he charged He-El, and Leon fell down the staircase and died after apologizing to his leader.
