Tony Stark escaped the Freedom Fighters’ base in his Mark I armor after Yinsen died protecting him. Outside, He-El annihilated the attackers’ missile jeep, and Stark saw him emerge from the smoke.

• Raza learned that Tony Stark’s cell had been breached and ordered his soldiers to stop him.
• Raza attacked Stark with a grenade launcher, but Stark’s armor protected him and a miniature missile blast knocked Raza unconscious beneath falling rocks.
• Stark tried to persuade the dying Yinsen to escape, but Yinsen refused and died after urging Stark not to waste his life.
