Arc 54The Merging Universes

Chen Hai gained telekinesis, seized control of Earth, and completed his Chronicle story before He-El turned to the growing merger of parallel universes. He-El found General Zod and Faora aboard an ancient warship, where Zod revealed that he planned to destroy the universe and that the Monitors were involved.

  • Chen Hai learned telekinesis, trained it to great strength, and attacked the Bloody Chariot Gang before killing police and military forces sent after him.
  • Chen Hai found the crystal, used its energy to reach the limits of his telekinesis, defeated Steve, Matt, and Andrew, and took control of Earth.
  • He-El took over Chen Hai’s body, traced the crystal to the Crystal Civilization, and returned to his universe as parallel-world plans expanded.
  • Doctor Manhattan warned He-El that the Monitors were merging parallel universes, and New Krypton prepared to defend its citizens as counterparts appeared.
  • Doomsday He-El attacked, but He-El trapped him as the merger ended and an ancient Doomsday Warship emerged in another galaxy.
  • He-El and Zeus boarded the warship, where they found decayed former Kryptonians, including Non and the still-conscious Faora.
  • Faora led He-El to General Zod, and He-El recounted Krypton’s fall, his rescue of eight million people, and New Krypton’s rise.
  • General Zod told He-El to leave the universe, then revealed that he intended to destroy it because the Monitors were involved in his mission.
Chapters 1327–1351 Vol. 14 Read

Ch. 1327World Peace

Chen Hai recognized that Andrew, Matt, and Steve had not yet begun the events that would lead to their ruin, and he warned them that the crystal behind their telekinesis could reshape humanity. He left Matt questioning his belief that giving the United States military these powers would bring peace.

  • Chen Hai sent Steve to buy a large amount of high-energy food while Andrew asked what Chen Hai knew about the source of their abilities.
  • Chen Hai told Andrew and Matt to keep their powers secret and focus on school, and said he would search for the crystal.
  • Matt asked what Chen Hai planned to do with the crystal, and Chen Hai said it might need to be destroyed or controlled to prevent a Third World War.
  • Matt insisted that telekinesis in the hands of the United States military would make the world peaceful, but Chen Hai challenged him about history, nuclear weapons, and human desire.
  • Steve returned carrying huge bags of food as Matt fell silent under Chen Hai's questions.

Ch. 1328Learning Telekinesis

Chen Hai ate Steve’s discounted food to build Energy Points, then spent one to learn telekinesis from Andrew. He left the chapter with the new ability and increased Spirit, sensing telekinetic force spread from his thoughts.

  • Steve returned with a large supply of discounted food and gave glucose to Matt and Andrew.
  • Chen Hai ate the cooked food until he had 1.42 Energy Points, while the sky over Seattle turned crimson.
  • Chen Hai touched Andrew and chose to learn telekinesis, spending one Energy Point.
  • The system added telekinesis under Soul and raised Chen Hai’s Spirit from 0.9 to 1.3.
  • Chen Hai felt his thoughts condense into telekinetic force and spread outward.

Ch. 1329Psychic Powers

Chen Hai explored his newly awakened telekinetic powers, discovering that he could manipulate objects and perceive his surroundings over a long range, though extended sensing left him dizzy. After gaining an energy point from eating the remaining food, he considered whether to strengthen his Spirit or improve his Telekinesis skill.

  • Chen Hai tested his telekinesis by shaping dust and airflow, then discovered he could scan nearby surroundings within twenty meters or extend his perception in a narrow line up to two thousand meters.
  • Chen Hai recognized that his telekinesis had physical and perceptive modes, and that prolonged mental scanning overwhelmed him with information and caused dizziness.
  • Andrew suspected Chen Hai had gained telekinetic power after noticing familiar signs of exhaustion, while Steve and Matt wondered why Chen Hai was acting strangely.
  • Chen Hai ate the rest of Steve's food and gained an energy point, then weighed whether to add it to Spirit or Telekinesis.

Ch. 1330This Point Allocation Isn't Right!

Chen Hai spent an energy point to improve his telekinesis, enduring repeated deaths in the system’s training space before gaining much greater control and strength. After briefly testing whether he could fly, he asked Steve to take him back to confront the Bloody Chariot Gang.

  • Chen Hai decided to put his energy point into the Telekinesis skill rather than Spirit.
  • The system sent Chen Hai into a training space where a duplicate repeatedly killed him with telekinesis as he learned to fight back.
  • After more than thirty deaths, Chen Hai completed the training and improved Telekinesis to Minor Accomplishment.
  • Chen Hai found that his telekinetic line could reach farther and exert up to fifty kilograms of force, making it more effective at piercing a person’s head.
  • Chen Hai tried to lift himself with telekinesis but could only hover briefly before dropping back down.
  • Chen Hai returned to the house and asked Steve to take him to deal with the Bloody Chariot Gang.

Ch. 1331I'll Deal with the Bloody Chariot Gang

Chen Hai decided to confront the Bloody Chariot Gang, dismissing the others’ objections and warning that the gang might target their families. Steve flew him back to the alley where their conflict began, and a sedan approached as Chen Hai confirmed he planned to kill.

  • Chen Hai told Steve he would deal with the Bloody Chariot Gang, alarming Matt, Andrew, and Steve with his blunt intention to kill them.
  • Chen Hai rejected the others’ suggestions to gather evidence or make a plan, insisting the gang’s members deserved to die.
  • Chen Hai warned that the gang might target their families if it could not find them, leaving Matt, Andrew, and Steve distressed.
  • Chen Hai promised to resolve the conflict and protect their families, then left with Steve, carrying his Colt M1911.
  • Steve flew Chen Hai back to the alley where they had encountered him the previous night, and Chen Hai confirmed he planned to kill as a sedan approached.

Ch. 1332A Bloody Ride

Chen Hai forced Dandy Pierce to drive him to the Bloody Chariot Gang headquarters so he could kill its members, while Dandy planned to loot the boss’s vault. They headed for the gang’s headquarters, with Dandy expecting to contact Chen Hai afterward and split the loot.

  • Steve urged Chen Hai not to become as evil as the Bloody Chariot Gang, then left after Chen Hai told him to look after Matt and Andrew.
  • Chen Hai stopped a sedan and shot three passengers after they mocked him and one tried to reach for a gun.
  • Chen Hai made the surviving driver, Dandy Pierce, identify the gang’s boss and explain where the Bloody Chariot Gang members gathered.
  • Chen Hai ordered Dandy to drive him to the gang’s headquarters and said he intended to kill everyone there.
  • Dandy offered to loot the boss’s vault and agreed to give Chen Hai nine-tenths of the money; Chen Hai gave him a phone and told him to call afterward.

Ch. 1333A Sensation

Chen Hai massacred the Bloody Chariot Gang, grew powerful by consuming vast amounts of food, and defeated police forces sent to capture him. As the military encircled Seattle and Dandy was arrested, Chen Hai remained hidden and went to find the cave that had given Steve, Matt, and Andrew their abilities.

  • Chen Hai killed more than twenty Bloody Chariot Gang members while Dandy robbed the gang’s vault, and the deputy chief began hunting Chen Hai after seeing him on camera.
  • Chen Hai spent his stolen money on energy-rich food, increased his Spirit and Telekinesis, and killed the deputy chief and more than ten officers when they found his warehouse.
  • After consuming more food and advancing his Telekinesis to Mastery, Chen Hai slaughtered a force of more than a hundred police and SWAT officers.
  • Footage of Chen Hai’s powers spread across the country, prompting public protests as the government labeled him an A-level super-criminal and the military moved to surround Seattle.
  • After Dandy was captured, Chen Hai used telekinetic camouflage to evade the search and went to find Black Pikachu at the cave that had empowered Steve, Matt, and Andrew.

Ch. 1334Absorbing the Purple Crystal, Becoming a God

Chen Hai uncovered and absorbed the purple crystal that had given Steve, Matt, and Andrew their telekinetic abilities, gaining a huge store of energy. He spent it to raise his telekinesis and Spirit, then ascended into the sky with power he believed could make him ruler of the world.

  • Chen Hai dug up the purple crystal beneath the collapsed cave and sensed that it emitted a signal-like frequency.
  • Chen Hai absorbed the crystal’s energy, and the crystal shattered, revealing a transparent inner shard that burned away.
  • Chen Hai saw that he had gained 532.66 Energy Points and spent points to raise his telekinesis to A Thought Like a God.
  • Chen Hai reached the system’s telekinesis limit, so he invested 100 points in Spirit and increased his Spirit to 113.3.
  • Chen Hai perceived the world at a molecular level, spread his arms, and rose into the sky.

Ch. 1335Chronicle Ends

Chen Hai conquered Earth through overwhelming telekinetic power, mass killings, and a mental network that let him rule humanity. Just as he believed the story was over, his system began scanning the universe’s underlying logic.

  • A transparent alien vessel entered the Solar System after losing the coordinates of the planet whose Guide Crystal it had destroyed.
  • Chen Hai killed the United States forces sent against him, withstood repeated missile attacks, and challenged anyone with extraordinary abilities to stop him.
  • Steve, Matt, and Andrew confronted Chen Hai, but he defeated them and disintegrated Matt when he refused to yield.
  • Chen Hai linked humanity through telekinetic contagion and survived a nuclear strike before declaring himself Earth's ruler and demanding the submission of world leaders and billionaires.
  • Chen Hai purged resistance, seized property, and established a centralized administration, transforming Earth into his domain within two months.
  • After Chen Hai thought the plot had ended, the system announced an external master scan of the universe's underlying logic.

Ch. 1336From The Three-Body Problem to Chronicle

He-El examined Chen Hai’s conquest of Earth and discovered that the Chronicle universe’s superpower-granting crystal came from an alien civilization searching the Solar System. He ordered The Three-Body Problem universe’s research and logistics bases moved to Chronicle, then returned to the He-El Universe as Lucy arrived.

  • He-El reviewed Chen Hai’s completed Chronicle story and took over Chen Hai’s body, erasing his will.
  • He-El observed that many people on Earth supported Chen Hai’s brutal rule and redistribution of resources, and recognized Chen Hai’s methods as much like his own.
  • He-El traced the crystal that granted Steve, Matt, and Andrew their powers to a scouting machine from the Crystal Civilization, which was searching near the Solar System for Earth.
  • He-El ordered the Universe System to control Chen Hai’s body and connect to Zero so it could relocate The Three-Body Problem universe’s research and logistics bases to Chronicle.
  • He-El left Chen Hai’s body and returned to the He-El Universe, where Lucy also arrived from the Lucy universe.

Ch. 1337The Wretched Fate of the Exhausted One Piece Clone

Lucy brought the Lucy Universe’s operating logic to He-El, who integrated it into his universe and appointed her its chief steward while preparing New Krypton to conquer the Lucy Universe. He-El then showed Lucy how he sent the spark of a clone who drowned after fighting Akainu Sakazuki and Aokiji Kuzan into another Traversal Vortex.

  • Lucy reported that she had found and imprinted the Lucy Universe’s underlying operating logic, and He-El copied it into his universe.
  • He-El ordered Lucy to prepare the Lucy Universe for New Krypton’s conquest and appointed her chief steward of the He-El Universe.
  • He-El showed Lucy the memories of a clone who had trained using half an Iron Body journal in the One Piece world.
  • The clone fought Akainu Sakazuki and Aokiji Kuzan for twelve days and nights, but drowned after they were rescued and he was left alone.
  • He-El declared that unfinished clones should be sent to another world and tossed the clone’s spark into a different Traversal Vortex.

Ch. 1338Jumper Universe

He-El explained to Lucy how his clones explored universes and triggered invasions, then reviewed a clone’s conquest of the Jumper Universe. He named it a construction target and left for Zero’s lunar command room.

  • He-El explained that clones could identify a universe’s story, survive until safe, or evolve foreign traits to overcome a universe’s resistance and enable invasion.
  • He-El showed Lucy a clone’s memories from an unfamiliar New York, where the clone used its system to gain strength through fighting.
  • The clone discovered it was in the Jumper world, gained teleportation, and built a political and religious organization to wage war on every nation.
  • After a century of conflict and more than a hundred nuclear launches, the clone shattered the planet, killed over five billion people, and unified the remains.
  • He-El named the world the Jumper Universe, told Lucy to add it to the construction targets, and went to Zero’s command room on the moon.

Ch. 1339Parallel Universes Begin to Merge

He-El reviewed Zeus’s failed efforts to reach Heavenly Blood and directed New Krypton’s expansion across several universes. As the Monitors began merging the Parallel Universes, Doctor Manhattan warned He-El of the change.

  • Zero reported that Zeus had made no progress crossing the universal boundary, and He-El concluded that the presence within Zeus was not in a hurry.
  • Zero said no database or surveillance records matched the handsome man in the black suit who had replaced Trigon inside Raven.
  • Zero reported that 1,321 civilizations from the The Three-Body Problem universe had joined New Krypton while others continued preparations to restart their universe.
  • He-El ordered the newcomers and evacuated resources distributed among the Chronicle, Jumper, and Lucy universes, with Lucy serving as a new logistics and research hub.
  • Doctor Manhattan appeared across the universe and warned He-El that the Monitors had begun merging the Parallel Universes.

Ch. 1340Parallel Universes Begin to Merge

As Parallel Universes began merging, Zero mobilized New Krypton to defend the Solar System and ordered its citizens to kill their newly appearing counterparts rather than risk losing their identities. The chapter ended with a brutal-looking counterpart confronting his original body, whom he had found using the Cosmic Wish Machine.

  • Zero activated New Krypton's preparations, transferring citizens and forces into the Solar System as its planets were transformed to stabilize and defend it.
  • New Krypton moved citizens from other galaxies into the Milky Way while Doctor Manhattan watched the universe's increasingly violent tremors from the Large Magellanic Cloud.
  • When the Parallel Universes merged, counterparts appeared beside New Krypton's citizens, and Zero ordered the citizens to kill them to preserve their identities.
  • New Krypton's forces engaged the Norse Pantheon and counterparts of the Guardians of the Universe, with Athena and assigned stellar-class personnel leading the response.
  • A hulking, spike-covered counterpart announced that the Cosmic Wish Machine had helped him find his original body.

Ch. 1341Doomsday He-El

Doomsday He-El arrived on Earth after sacrificing his universe to find and devour the original He-El. He-El trapped him in a sphere of space-time as the Parallel Universe merger ended, while an ominous Ancient Krypton Doomsday warship appeared in the GN-z11 galaxy.

  • Doomsday He-El attacked Earth and crushed the arm of a Stellar-level powerhouse before He-El blocked his Heat Vision.
  • Doomsday He-El explained that he had survived three Parallel Universe mergers, killed and absorbed three alternate He-Els, and used the Cosmic Wish Machine to find the original He-El.
  • He-El explained that he had created the Parallel Universes to anchor himself and other things to his universe, then asked Doomsday He-El about the mergers.
  • Doomsday He-El admitted he did not know what caused the mergers and attacked He-El to devour him.
  • He-El contracted space-time around Doomsday He-El, trapped him in a glass sphere, and ended the merger.
  • A decayed Ancient Krypton Doomsday warship emerged from the void in the GN-z11 galaxy.

Ch. 1342The First Wave of Parallel Universe Fusion

After New Krypton suppressed the first wave of parallel universe fusion, He-El realized that the beings and creations he had brought through the Traversal Vortex might not be safe in the future Source Universe. He arranged to move them to the He-El Universe while Zero prepared to oversee New Krypton with an avatar system.

  • New Krypton and its allies quelled the Solar System’s unrest, killing unconnected arrivals, Odin, and resisting Guardians of the Universe.
  • He-El sensed Destiny and concluded that parallel universes born from him were beginning to merge toward the Source Universe.
  • He-El opened a restricted Traversal Vortex at Zero’s Moon Base and ordered Zero, the Mechanical Corps, Ciri, Hela, and the other lives he had brought through the Traversal Vortex to relocate to the He-El Universe.
  • Zero agreed to leave an avatar system in New Krypton to oversee its operations during the fusion.

Ch. 1343Godly Counterparts

After the merged Parallel Universe’s forces were defeated, He-El urged Athena and the Olympian Gods to survive their counterparts with help from New Krypton’s stellar-level personnel. Zeus then reported that a base collecting Heavenly Blood had gone silent after an Ancient Krypton Doomsday Warship appeared.

  • Zero withdrew Ciri, Hela, and the Mechanical Corps into the He-El Universe while New Krypton’s forces eliminated the merged Parallel Universe’s counterparts.
  • Athena led the Olympian Gods and New Krypton’s stellar-level personnel to defeat Odin’s Norse Pantheon, then reported to He-El.
  • He-El warned the Olympian Gods about their counterparts and promised fifty stellar-level personnel to assist them; Athena led the gods away to prepare for the next universe merger.
  • Zeus told He-El that his Heavenly Blood collection base had lost contact after an Ancient Krypton Doomsday Warship appeared following the merger.

Ch. 1344An Ominous Aura

He-El and Zeus found Ancient Krypton’s missing Doomsday Warship near the edge of the universe, where it had appeared after the Parallel Universe merged. The ship was unmistakably Zeus’s from this universe, but its decayed hull carried an ominous aura neither of them recognized.

  • Zeus maintained his boundary mechanical base while monitoring the universe after the merger disrupted his mission to collect Heavenly Blood.
  • He-El and Zeus arrived by Space Bridge and discovered the ruined Doomsday Warship beside the mechanical continent.
  • He-El recognized the House of Zod insignia and recalled the ship’s history as Ancient Krypton’s most powerful warship, which had vanished during the Second Cosmic War.
  • Zeus explained that the Doomsday Warship had helped start the Second Cosmic War and that its disappearance had baffled Ancient Krypton and its enemies.
  • He-El scanned the ship and found its hull intact beneath a strange, decaying aura, while Zeus admitted he had never encountered such an aura.
  • Zeus confirmed the ship came from their universe by pointing out the fist-shaped dent he had left in its hull while fighting the House of Zod.

Ch. 1345Phantom Zone

He-El identified the ominous force corroding the Doomsday Warship as energy from the Phantom Zone and suspected something had happened to the realm or its consciousness, Aethyr. He and Zeus entered the ship to investigate, where they encountered the ruined figure of Non, He-El’s former teacher.

  • He-El touched the corroded hull despite Zeus’s warning and used the He-El Universe to analyze it.
  • He-El concluded that the ominous energy came from the Phantom Zone and guessed that the Phantom Zones of parallel universes might have merged.
  • He-El suspected that the Phantom Zone or Aethyr’s consciousness projection had suffered some kind of trouble.
  • He-El warned Zeus not to touch anything inside the Doomsday Warship, and they entered its metal hall.
  • A ruined researcher approached them, and He-El recognized him as Non, his former teacher and one of General Zod’s subordinates.

Ch. 1346General Zod's Subordinates

He-El and Zeus encountered General Zod’s former subordinates aboard the Doomsday Warship, discovering that ominous energy had turned them into living dead. They reached the dark command room and found Faora standing inside.

  • Zeus restrained Non, and He-El recalled how Non’s warnings about Krypton’s destruction led to his punishment and General Zod’s rebellion.
  • He-El ordered Zeus to kill Non, but Non survived even after Zeus crushed his spine and pulverized his brain.
  • He-El used Microscopic Vision to discover that ominous energy sustained Non’s body and biological instincts, then continued toward the command room with Zeus.
  • He-El and Zeus encountered more than a dozen of General Zod’s former subordinates, who charged at them like zombies, and Zeus squeezed them into balls.
  • He-El and Zeus entered the dark command room and saw Faora standing by its glass.

Ch. 1347Faora

He-El recognized Faora aboard the Doomsday Warship and fought her, discovering that she remained conscious despite her decayed body. After they reunited and reminisced about their past, He-El asked what had happened to her and where General Zod was.

  • He-El recognized Faora, his former sparring partner and acquaintance from Krypton, as she turned to face him.
  • Faora charged He-El, and they exchanged familiar close-combat moves until she could no longer overpower him.
  • Faora told He-El she knew he had become an outstanding man and admitted she was no longer his opponent.
  • He-El realized Faora was still conscious and greeted her, and the two joked about their shared training memories.
  • He-El asked Faora what had happened to her, what was going on with the Doomsday Warship, and where General Zod had gone.

Ch. 1348Experiences in the Phantom Zone

He-El reunited with Faora aboard the Doomsday Warship and learned how she and General Zod’s soldiers escaped their individual prisons in the Phantom Zone. Faora brought him to the Life Creation Chamber, where General Zod remained preserved, and said their return to the universe had seemed strange.

  • He-El told Zeus to wait outside the Doomsday Warship and asked Faora to take him to General Zod.
  • Faora questioned how He-El had become a sovereign with a powerful subordinate, and He-El promised to explain after hearing her story.
  • Faora described breaking out of her Phantom Zone prison, freeing General Zod and the soldiers, and finding the Doomsday Warship.
  • Faora explained that an abnormal aura caused the Phantom Zone inhabitants and the warship to decay, prompting her to preserve General Zod in the Life Creation Chamber.
  • Faora led He-El to the Life Creation Chamber and opened it, revealing General Zod.

Ch. 1349He did not save Krypton

He-El told General Zod and Faora that he had tried to overthrow Krypton's government and replace its leaders with clones to save their people. He revealed that Jor-El had stopped him and saved only his own son, leaving Zod furious as he learned Krypton had perished with nearly everyone still on it.

  • General Zod recognized He-El in the containment tank, and Faora demanded to know what had happened to Krypton after their exile.
  • He-El explained that he had rallied common people and cloned Krypton's ruling leaders beneath Kandor City, hoping to seize power and solve the planet's crisis.
  • He-El said his adoptive father, Jor-El, discovered his plans and intended to send him away to die, prompting General Zod to erupt in anger.
  • General Zod asked whether Jor-El had saved Krypton, and He-El revealed that Jor-El had secured the Codex and prepared an escape ship for his own son.
  • He-El concluded that Jor-El had believed Krypton beyond saving and had ignored other chances to help its people survive.

Ch. 1350Zod and Faora's shock

He-El told General Zod and Faora that Krypton had been destroyed, then explained how he saved eight million Kryptonians, founded New Krypton, and conquered the universe. He warned that the merging of parallel universes could disrupt New Krypton's routes and lead to another war of conquest.

  • General Zod grieved over Krypton's destruction and blamed himself for failing to protect it.
  • Faora asked He-El what had happened after Jor-El sent him away, and He-El described returning to Krypton's ruins and rescuing eight million people from Kandor City.
  • He-El revealed that he had defeated Jor-El's son and other forces, secured the Codex, founded New Krypton, and conquered the universe.
  • He-El warned that the merging of parallel universes could damage New Krypton's dark-universe passages and require another campaign of conquest.
  • General Zod and Faora struggled to comprehend He-El's rise, and Zod began to address him gravely.

Ch. 1351Come With Me

He-El offered General Zod and Faora places in New Krypton, but Zod urged him to evacuate the empire’s important members from the universe. Zod revealed that he and Faora had become immortal monsters and were forced to destroy the universe because of the Monitors.

  • He-El told General Zod and Faora that New Krypton had conquered the universe and offered to recruit them into his empire.
  • General Zod told He-El to take New Krypton’s important members and leave the universe with him.
  • He-El asked Zod to explain the danger and said he could provide supplies and resources for any Kryptonians who left.
  • General Zod revealed that he had returned from the Phantom Zone intending to shelter surviving Kryptonians there, but now planned to destroy the universe.
  • Faora explained that energy in the Phantom Zone had turned her and Zod into immortal monsters who could not end their own lives.
  • General Zod began explaining that the Monitors were involved in their mission.
