Even twenty Stellar-class powerhouses couldn't take down Darkseid?
This astonished the young Stellar-class powerhouses.
Was he really that powerful?
They had assumed that when the elders called Darkseid powerful, they meant he could fight three or four Stellar-class powerhouses at once.
Now, hearing that even twenty Stellar-class powerhouses couldn't take down Darkseid, they frowned deeply. They couldn't help thinking that these ancient Stellar-class powerhouses were utterly useless. Did they even deserve to stand on the same level as us?
"Times have changed. You're simply incompetent," one Stellar-class powerhouse said bluntly. He considered them utterly incapable. If twenty of them couldn't beat one opponent, what else could it be?
"All you do is accumulate energy in your bodies and unleash natural attacks like a star or sun undergoing a Supernova Explosion. You barely qualify as Stellar-class powerhouses. What use are you, standing on the same level as us?" An even stronger Stellar-class powerhouse was merciless, convinced that these stubborn old fools worried over nothing and only bolstered their enemies' confidence.
"We are two hundred Stellar-class powerhouses, encompassing the greatest forces in the entire universe, yet we let you keep warning us and proclaiming that Darkseid cannot be resisted.
"You have no drive to advance. The long years have worn away all your edges and left you mediocre," a young Stellar-class powerhouse said disdainfully.
During their rise, they had encountered far too many old fools who flaunted their seniority and constantly stood in their way.
Those elders always acted as though their age and experience entitled them to obedience. They even deliberately withheld things, using rules, personal connections, and laws to oppress and repeatedly suppress the young. They never compared actual abilities or improved their own. Instead, they constantly cultivated connections, favors, rules, bribes, and everything else unrelated to their actual duties
