Matt, Steve, and Andrew used telekinesis to wrap Chen Hai up and fly into the dark night sky, heading south toward a grove where they often practiced their telekinetic abilities.
Matt, Steve, and Andrew's telekinetic powers had come from a student dance party held at Black Pikachu.
At the time, Steve and Matt had discovered a mysterious cave entrance. Eager to explore, they called Andrew over with his camera so he could record their fresh and exciting adventure.
But after entering the cave, they heard some extraordinarily strange sounds. Eventually, they found a rock that did not seem to be made of any material from Earth. When they accidentally touched it, the stone emitted infrasound, causing all three of them to pass out.
In the end, other students called the police, and they were rescued. The cave containing the mysterious stone later collapsed, burying the stone inside.
To prevent another collapse, that entire area was closed off.
When Matt, Steve, and Andrew woke up in the hospital, they discovered that they had developed telekinetic abilities and could possibly manipulate objects.
The frequency of their telekinetic powers was the same. As long as one of them used an overly powerful ability, the others would also get nosebleeds from overload.
Matt, Steve, and Andrew lowered Chen Hai onto the muddy ground in the woods.
"What do we do? Is he going to die? He looks so weak—so weak he looks worse than my grandmother before she died." After Steve landed, he paced anxiously back and forth over the dead leaves, babbling nonstop. "Can we take him to a hospital? I've never dealt with an injured person who was shot, then hit by a car and sent flying, and still keeps saying he's hungry."
Chen Hai kept muttering that he was hungry, hungry,
