As Neji Hyuga and Tenten grew up, the courtyard had expanded considerably. Nearby was a training ground where the grass no longer grew, trampled into existence by Neji Hyuga's training of Tenten and Rock Lee. Not far away stood large trees, thick enough to require three people to embrace them, their trunks severed into stumps that served as chairs and resting spots.
Neji Hyuga stood in the open training ground, slowly stretching his body. The entire forest seemed to begin breathing. Leaves rustled endlessly, while sparrows, hawks, and other birds flew up from the branches in panic, filling the sky as they fled in every direction, as though some primordial beast had awakened here.
Centipedes, spiders, snakes, squirrels, and all manner of insects and animals emerged in panic from gaps in the ground, stones, and dead leaves. They sensed an inexplicable frequency that filled them with extreme discomfort and terror, and hurriedly fled into the distance.
The entire forest seemed like a giant, breathing in and out, emanating a rhythm and breath that terrified living creatures. The frequency covered low, medium, and high ranges, producing an unbearable nausea in nearly every kind of creature. All insects and animals fled this place in panic without exception.
