Bulma wore a pink jumpsuit dress with the English word BULMA across her chest and the number 97 on her back. A slim brown belt was tied around her waist, with a pouch hanging on the left side. She wore a dark brown glove on her right hand, a ladies' watch with a thin red strap on her left wrist, and a purple scarf around her neck. Her blue hair was tied behind her head, bound by a red ribbon into a thick braid that reached her shoulders. Her face was youthful, her eyes bright and innocent. Holding the Dragon Radar she had made herself, joy flashed in her eyes.
"Found it, found it! It's nearby." Bulma's bright eyes crinkled into crescents as she happily watched the location displayed on the Dragon Radar. It kept blinking, and it was not far from her.
She had made the Dragon Radar based on the Two-Star Dragon Ball she had found in her family's warehouse.
At first, she had not known what the Two-Star Dragon Ball was. She had asked many people, but no one knew what it was for. Only after searching through a great deal of historical material did she learn that there were seven Dragon Balls, marked with one star through seven stars, each with a different number of stars.
Once all seven Dragon Balls were gathered, Shenron could be summoned to grant any wish.
Bulma had looked through historical records and learned that someone had become a king after obtaining the Dragon Balls. She thought the stories might be true. Carrying a young girl's dreams, sixteen-year-old Bulma used the Two-Star Dragon Ball to create the Dragon Radar and search for the other Dragon Balls.
She drove her light-blue car into the forest. The leafy canopy formed by towering ancient
