The Manta Ray spacecraft arrived above the training grounds. Its lower hatch opened, and a beam of light shone straight down. He-El descended slowly within the tractor beam, a large trench coat draped over his arm.
"BOSS!" The seven captains lowered their heads respectfully.
Maria's five-meter-tall body gradually returned to a normal human size.
He-El stepped out of the tractor beam and onto the ground, smiling faintly at them. "Looks like you're all full of energy."
As he spoke, He-El casually tossed the trench coat over his arm to Maria, who had just finished transforming. Maria caught it and said, "Thank you, BOSS." Then she openly put on the trench coat in front of everyone.
"What's wrong? The Gene Serum worked well, didn't it?" He-El swept his gaze around before looking at the mercenary lying unconscious in a crater, blood flowing from all seven orifices after Maria had smashed him into submission, his body reverted to human form.
"It worked very well, except..." Maria put on the trench coat and buttoned it up. Her face was icy as her raised brows swept over the many Crimson Hulks. "Except some people think that because they possess the power BOSS gave them, they have the right to get out of line."
Ever since drinking the Red Hulk and Crimson Hulk serums, everyone had seen an enormous increase in strength.
They possessed immense strength and such powerful regenerative abilities that even when Maria broke all four of their limbs, they could recover in only a few days. They were impervious to blades and bullets, and could leap fifty meters into the air.
What kind of concept was a fifty-meter leap?
A single floor was three meters high. Fifty divided by three equaled sixteen. Fifty meters was the height of a sixteen-story building.
