"Yu'er Kingdom?" Yang Xiaohai looked utterly confused. He had followed Senior Brother Li all the way here, yet he had never heard of any place called Yu'er Kingdom.

Seeing Yang Xiaohai's expression, Sun Baolu asked in surprise, "What? You didn't know? Siqi and Nanping have both been wiped out. The State Religion wiped them out."

"They lumped all those territories together and called it Yu'er Kingdom. I heard the State Religion is the State Religion there too. Right now, Yu'er Kingdom is fighting the people of Later Shu. I heard the fighting is fierce enough that even immortals have come down from the heavens. If you go to Later Shu now, you'll die no matter which side you run into."

At Sun Baolu's words, Yang Xiaohai's young face immediately turned terribly grim. He had finally managed to return to Qingqiu, and he was just about to reach Later Shu when this happened.

If he had learned this before, perhaps he could have stayed in Oxheart Village and waited a few years. But now that he had already come halfway, going forward was impossible, yet turning back was just as impossible.
