"Is this car expensive?" Li Huowang ran his hand over the red leather trim beside him and asked Qing Wanglai in the driver's seat.
The car sped along, the engine's hum sometimes low, sometimes high-pitched. Though he did not know much about cars, just from the sound and the shape of the front end, he could tell this was the kind his family could never afford.
Just then, Yang Na stared in surprise at the price she had looked up on her phone. Then she leaned over, pressed her lips to Li Huowang's ear, and quietly told him the number.
After hearing the price his girlfriend quoted, Li Huowang slowly withdrew his hand from the leather.
Seeing how pitifully broke this guy had looked while eating at the school cafeteria before, he really had not expected him to be this rich.
