Oreki thought that perhaps those six people simply felt there were aspects of themselves that others might find unsatisfactory, making them possible targets for expulsion.

So... they did not want to be expelled like that.

"Intermission!" Teacher Ogura continued.

Since they had not reached a unanimous decision, they entered a ten-minute intermission.
