The Stomachless King began doing what he was best at and most passionate about.
He threw open his jaws, bared his back teeth, and began wolfing everything down like a whirlwind sweeping away fallen clouds.
Though even when stretched to their limit, his jaws were not one-tenth as large as the Abyss Demon Worm's gaping maw, which could split open in every direction.
His speed of devouring flesh, however, was not inferior in the slightest.
He savagely tore off great chunks of the Abyss Demon Worm's flesh, swallowing them down his throat before he even had time to chew.
The Stomachless King truly seemed to have no stomach or intestines.

The Abyss Demon Worm's cellular division and flesh-regeneration abilities were no weaker than the Stomachless King's.
No matter how much of its flesh and organs the Stomachless King devoured, it could heal and regenerate at a speed visible to the naked eye.
And so, one man and one beast—two monsters possessing equally terrifying devouring and regenerative powers—fell into the longest battle in Turanze's history.
They were like an ouroboros biting each other's heads and tails, locked in an endless cycle.
They constantly fed
