"Yes, and among all the Flamebearers I have been able to connect with, you are the most outstanding." Zero revealed an encouraging smile to Meng Chao.
That human-like expression looked especially eerie against the backdrop of tens of thousands of Big-Headed Monster Infants.

Zero spoke unhurriedly. "To save the civilization we share; to let the sacred flame ignited hundreds of millions of years ago continue burning into the next hundred million years; to let all intelligent beings basking in civilization's radiance prosper and multiply without end—is this not the pursuit that you and your compatriots are willing to give everything for, strive after all your lives for, and remain faithful to until death?"
Meng Chao remained silent.
In a sense, Zero was right.
