Chapter 75: Four Major Combat Professions
After ten years of emergency relocation and construction, Dragon City, at its peak on Earth, had a population of tens of millions.
Several million of them were experts, scholars, and highly skilled workers relocated from the coast.
There were also over a hundred full-time institutions of higher education, hundreds of research institutes and industrial parks. The steel conglomerates alone numbered two, employing millions of researchers and industrial workers combined.
To cope with the brutal war, Dragon City had an exceptionally complete range of industries, with every link in the upstream and downstream supply chains in place. Large numbers of military enterprises and war bases were buried deep underground, and many Underground Bases could withstand Nuclear Weapon bombardment.

All of it had crossed into the Otherworld overnight.
As the spaces of both worlds overlapped and squeezed against one another, bizarre phenomena of spatial folding and stretching appeared throughout the Dragon City metropolitan area.
For example, about fifty kilometers north of the Main District, there had originally been an industrial town with a population of more than two hundred thousand.
