Whether it was the struggle against floods, mist, and monsters, or the struggle between people for resources, where they stopped at nothing and cast aside all humanity, it was all a hundred times crueler than in Dragon City's Main District.

The Main District had a large population, abundant resources, a complete range of industries, and stood at the heart of a basin enclosed by the Monster Mountain Range. Far from mountain ridges and jungles like the Mist Hidden Forbidden Zone, where monsters ran rampant, survival was comparatively much easier there.

Peach Blossom Paradise Town was merely a Satellite City, responsible for supporting a certain branch of industry and technology across the greater Dragon City region. It could not possibly have stockpiled as many supplies as the Main District, possessed all-encompassing machinery and technological reserves, or even maintained much of a military force or weapons arsenal.

Yet it had crossed directly into the Mist Hidden Forbidden Zone, a Monster Base Camp.

It also faced the violent flooding caused by the collision of the Crimson Dragon River and Tiger's Fury River.

It could be called, without the slightest exaggeration, a "hellish start."

When faced with the choice between survival and destruction, both the nobility and baseness of human nature were squeezed to their limits, releasing their most magnificent and ugliest light.

Thus, Peach Blossom Paradise Town was a microcosm of Dragon City—an even more extreme, briefer, and fiercer microcosm.
