As Yang Ming and Yang Wutian began to act, the person behind the scenes was likewise taking action.
Elsewhere in the city. A magnificent chandelier, glittering murals, and comfortable, luxurious sofas filled this mansion bedroom with an aristocratic air.
A dignified man in white, appearing to be just over thirty, sat on the sofa. Upon hearing his subordinate's report, he wore a mocking smile and spoke.
"Those idiots finally figured it out? Too bad. It's too late!"
He then continued issuing orders.
"Tell our people to get ready, in case they become desperate and make a last stand."
"We can't let this grand performance go wrong!"
Having received his orders, the subordinate bowed respectfully and replied,
"Yes, Master!"
He then slowly left the room to relay the order. Inside, the man rose and gazed at the bright full moon outside the window. A gentle smile hung on his face, but beneath it lay utter madness. The man spoke as if conversing with someone.
"Don't be anxious. They'll arrive soon."
The night passed in the blink of an eye.
The next morning, a faint glimmer gradually appeared along the skyline.
Yang Ming and Ya Li stood by the window and spoke to the unremarkable middle-aged man sitting behind them.
"We can begin!"
After hearing Yang Ming, the man nodded to the attendant standing beside him. The attendant immediately accepted the order and went out to deliver it.
Yang Ming, Ya Li, and the middle-aged man then left the room and headed for their next destination.
Before long, cheers erupted outside the room. The earth-shaking roar was filled with excitement and passion, with two old men shouting the loudest.
"It's really cured?"
"We succeeded!"
"We really succeeded!!!"
"The Wind Death Disease has finally been solved!"
"Saga City is saved!!!"
