Chapter Summaries

Pam used Intertwined Fate to summon Akivili, bringing former Nameless back to the Star Rail Train. After nearly four hundred Ten-Pulls, a familiar voice finally made Pam turn around in surprise.

• March 7th hit Stelle and A-Huan after they laughed at her, then explained how Intertwined Fate worked.
• Stelle gave Pam Intertwined Fate so he could summon Akivili, and Pam brought former Nameless back to the train.
• Pam failed to find Akivili among the first arrivals, but March 7th comforted him and he continued summoning.
• After nearly four hundred Ten-Pulls, Pam heard a familiar voice ask why he was on the train and turned toward the speaker.

After Akivili returned, the star rails across the galaxy lit up and the other Star Gods turned their attention toward the Star Rail Train. Jing Yuan and Herta’s factions investigated the anomalies, and Screwllum began explaining that they shared a cause.

• The Nameless cheered as Akivili returned, causing star rails throughout the galaxy to shine and drawing the attention of the other Star Gods.
• Jing Yuan reviewed reports of the anomalies and worried that Luofu could not withstand another crisis.
• Fu Xuan told Jing Yuan that the Matrix of Prescience could not find the root cause, but the Trailblaze Star god’s return might explain the anomalies.
• Jing Yuan decided to report Akivili’s return to the Marshal and ordered Fu Xuan to accompany him.
• Herta asked Screwllum about the Star Gods’ movements, and he said the star rail and Star God anomalies came from the same cause.

After Akivili’s return caused strange changes among the Star Gods and along the star rails, factions across the galaxy sent people to investigate the Star Rail Train. Back aboard the Train, Akivili recognized A-Huan as Aha and attacked him, while Himeko watched in shock.

• Herta dismissed Screwllum’s suggestion that the Star Rail Train was involved, then rushed off to question its crew before hearing his warning.
• The Company’s leaders ordered Topaz to investigate the Train and told her to hold position on Jarilo-VI; she accepted and redirected her spaceship.
• Many factions across the galaxy sent spies toward the Star Rail Train.
• The Nameless celebrated Akivili’s return and began preparing a banquet, unaware of the attention they had drawn.
• Akivili sensed Aha hiding behind March 7th, exposed his disguise, and kicked at him; Aha revealed himself and dodged as Himeko watched in surprise.

March 7th and the others realized Aha was the Aeon of Elation, while Stelle secretly pocketed twenty pink balls. In the Douluo World, Wu Tong visited Mobius’s laboratory to test a device on Akaza, who was still alive.

• March 7th and the Train Crew were shocked when Aha returned to his original form, and Pam worried that he and Akivili would cause trouble together.
• Stelle quietly took the twenty pink balls from the table, hoping to sell them to Herta.
• Wu Tong found Elysia bothering Mobius and asked why she and Eden had not yet set out to travel the continent.
• Elysia explained that she and Eden planned to help with Wu Tong’s Academy opening before leaving.
• Wu Tong asked Mobius about Akaza, learned that she had kept him alive as a research subject, and followed her to test a device on him.

Mobius and Wu Tong stopped Akaza’s escape with a newly made Kevin Puppet, and Wu Tong built a Synapse Condenser - Simplified Edition to use on him. The device anesthetized Akaza and inserted an Interface Device into his hippocampus, beginning the procedure.

• Mobius led Wu Tong to Akaza’s laboratory, where Akaza bolted for the exit as soon as she opened the door.
• A Kevin Puppet blocked Akaza and smashed his legs, leaving him unable to escape.
• Mobius warned Akaza that she would increase the frequency of his experiments, then asked Wu Tong for his instrument.
• Wu Tong used the Herrscher of Reason’s authority to fabricate the Synapse Condenser - Simplified Edition and gave Mobius its manual.
• Wu Tong restrained Akaza beside the instrument, anesthetized him, and had a mechanical tentacle insert an Interface Device into his hippocampus.

Wu Tong used the Synapse Condenser - Simplified Edition to test whether Akaza's synapses could power Soul Net and to investigate the burn resistance of undead creatures. The machine weakened Akaza before Wu Tong stopped the test, and Soul Net presented new data.

• Wu Tong silenced Akaza, placed him in a biopod, and explained to Dr. Mobius that the simplified Synapse Condenser retained the genuine device's functions.
• Dr. Mobius recognized that Wu Tong intended to test the burn resistance of highly immortal creatures, and Wu Tong started the machine.

Mobius discovered that her Stand, Ouroboros, the Serpent of Infinity, could devour living beings and copy their traits onto itself and her body. After testing it on Akaza, she learned it also copied flaws, leaving her worried that her path to becoming an ultimate life-form was a dead end.

• Wu Tong explained that cultivators could perceive Stands through Divine Sense, and Mobius learned her Stand was named Ouroboros, the Serpent of Infinity.
• Mobius revealed Ouroboros’s ability, Infinite Devour, which let it absorb living beings’ traits and modify itself by consuming energy.
• Mobius explained that Ouroboros could apply its modifications to her own body, and Wu Tong realized she could potentially gather traits from creatures across worlds.

Wu Tong used the Insect Arrow on Mobius's Serpent of Infinity, successfully evolving it into Serpent of Infinity Requiem. Mobius discovered that its original ability had been strengthened without limit, leaving Wu Tong impressed by its potential.

• Wu Tong reminded Mobius that the Insect Arrow could grant Requiem evolution, and Mobius asked him to use it on Serpent of Infinity.
• Wu Tong stabbed Serpent of Infinity with the Insect Arrow, and the Stand transformed inside a ball of light.
