Feng Shayan killed a fishman pirate without feeling remorse, and Wu Tong explained that she had subconsciously viewed fishmen as monsters rather than people. After the battle at Arlong Park, Arlong was left alive for Nami to deal with, and he began plotting to seize Wu Tong as a hostage.
