Chiyo narrowed her eyes. She had been observing her surroundings ever since she stepped out of the teleportation passage.
She hadn't noticed it inside because it had been a research facility, but now that she was outside, she felt more and more strongly just how magnificent this place was.
In the distance, skyscrapers rose a hundred meters high among layers of mountains. Their exteriors were covered in layer upon layer of glass that reflected the sunlight. The towers made her dizzy just looking at them, leaving her overwhelmed.
There would be nothing strange about buildings like these if they were merely landmarks, but there were at least ten of them within her line of sight!
She had thought she was coming here as a prisoner, yet she had simply been sent out like this.
She considered herself to possess Kage-level strength at the very least, but being treated with such disregard left her bewildered.
Weren't they afraid I would harbor resentment and cause trouble here?

Her eyes turned toward the direction of the voice in disbelief, and sure enough, there stood a red-haired, handsome child who looked as if he didn't belong to this world's style at all!
He had a carefree expression and was waving at her.
