"Can't you behave yourself for once?"
Daoist Wang had not expected Senior Bones to open with an accusation.
He felt a little embarrassed.
"What happened, Senior?"
"I only looked away from your side for a moment, and damn, you nearly caused a Time Storm!"
Senior Bones's words were filled with indescribable frustration.
He glanced into Wang Jixuan's Treasure Ship, ducked inside, frowned at Mao Mo, the Loose Immortal, for two seconds, but said nothing. He silently treated Mao Mo as one of Wang Jixuan's underlings.
"Go forward."
Senior Bones swiped a finger, and a Colorful Passage appeared ahead.
Wang Jixuan steered the Treasure Ship into it.
The passage began to twist, stretch, and compress. Wang Jixuan felt like a piece of chewing gum being chewed, but with Senior Bones protecting him, he did not suffer.
That feeling of distortion vanished.
They had passed through the passage and arrived in another starry sky.
Not far ahead, a stretch of land floated beneath the stars. They could clearly see a Heaven and Earth Membrane completely wrapping around that flat world, with streaks of light occasionally flashing within it.
Wang Jixuan sensed something and turned to the side, discovering that Mao Mo had already fainted, while Peony was wrapped in a layer of Seven-Colored Rosy Light.
Clearly, Senior Bones had something he wanted to tell him.
"I never expected," Bones sighed, "that traveling through time and hiding in the past would trigger so much turmoil."
Wang Jixuan hurriedly said, "I don't want to burden you too much, Senior. You should send me back to the present."
"The present..."
Bones slowly raised a hand and drew a straight line before them containing blue and purple hues.
"Taking the present you departed from as the baseline, this is the normal timeline.
"You are here now."
