Roughly speaking, Golden Immortals attained longevity because the Great Dao they cultivated resonated with naturally existing Great Daos, imprinting their marks upon the Sea of Dao Principles and thus transcending the natural laws governing life, aging, illness, and death.
Longevity could also be described as being born alongside the Dao.
The Heavenly Dao was like a network woven from the countless Great Daos within the Sea of Dao Principles, resonating simultaneously with heaven and earth as well as all living beings, thereby giving birth to a peculiar will.
Thus, the relationship between Golden Immortals and the Heavenly Dao was ultimately somewhat difficult to define.
