He had two Third Order pets, so naturally he wouldn't fear First Order Burrowing Rats, and even Second Order Berserk Blood Rats could be dealt with easily.

According to the materials she'd read, Sunflowers were natural predators of Burrowing Rats—their steel-like roots could pierce straight through a Burrowing Rat's skull in an instant.

They bared their claws and lunged at Ye Bai.

These Berserk Blood Rats were already a dark red in color, clearly having broken through some time ago.

The Gray Poison Moth flapped its wings, and purple powder shot from its bewitching wings.

When the powder landed on the Berserk Blood Rats, their eyes bulged wide as if they would pop out.

They clutched their throats tightly, tongues lolling out, and after a few mournful squeals, they collapsed to the ground, soon lifeless.

Their bodies corroded into bone at terrifying speed, revealing glistening Blood Cores.

The Thousand Changes Silkworm stared greedily at the Blood Cores, unable to hide the drool at the corner of its mouth.

"Does your Thousand Changes Silkworm need those Blood Cores?" Zhang Lingxue noticed the silkworm's expression and asked curiously.

Ye Bai nodded. "These Berserk Blood Rats' Blood Cores seem to enhance the Thousand Changes Silkworm's defense."

"And they also boost its recovery ability."
