Background

The Sunflower Emperor began as a millstone-sized Second Order Sunflower in Fangyuan Pet House's courtyard. It was the shop's sole Second Order pet beast, and all of its other sunflowers were bred from it. 9

After evolving into the Sunflower King, it amassed flesh, blood essence, and Crystal Cores during the Berserk Blood Rat crisis. Its offspring joined the battle under its command, while its flower disk served as a concealed storage space for gathered Blood Cores. 45 53

Ye Bai recognized its ability to absorb and convert Strange Beast essence into Life Crystal Dew, then planned the Sunflower Cleanup Company around its corpse-cleanup and purification potential. The sunflower army subsequently cleared Beast Tide remains in multiple cities, earning appreciation from citizens and the Pet Beast Guild. 56 75

At noon on a school rooftop, the Sunflower King reached Tier 4 and became the Sunflower Emperor. It immediately subdued the newly evolved Mandala Grass Emperor, defending Ye Bai after the latter was threatened and placing it under Plant Domination. 132

Ye Bai formally gave the Sunflower Emperor his fourth Contract Slot, inheriting its Holy Light Illumination skill. 178

Appearance

The Sunflower Emperor can pass for an ordinary sunflower, but its true combat form is a massive, root-tangled creature surrounded by an endless sea of sunflowers. 180

The Sunflower Emperor is simple and honest in its usual presentation, and visibly pleased by Ye Bai's praise and recognition. It is strongly protective of Ye Bai, reacting violently when the Mandala Grass Emperor insulted its Pet Beast Master. 53 132 319

Behind its harmless appearance is a ruthless streak. It precisely tortured the Tier 5 Storm Fang Wolf until the wolf submitted in terror, and it mercilessly dismantled the Mirage Dragon after the latter became its enemy. 213 222

It is also highly practical and adaptable, assisting with cleanup work, field supplies, cooking, butchery, and emergency surgery in addition to combat. 75 197 208
