"Wooo!"
A piercing alarm wailed across the Montana-class battleship. The moment they heard it, everyone's faces changed drastically.
"Damn it, what's going on?" Admiral Husband Kimmel flew into a rage. He had been admiring the American Navy's 1st Capital Ship Formation as it demolished the German navy's naval base with overwhelming gunfire. Now, the alarm had suddenly begun blaring.
"General, Radar has detected dozens of torpedo boats rapidly closing in on us!" A staff officer ran in and reported to the Commander.
"What? Torpedo boats?" Admiral Husband Kimmel's face immediately changed.
"Those damned Germans! They actually hid torpedo boats here in ambush? How utterly despicable!" Admiral Husband Kimmel's expression turned exceedingly grim. He knew perfectly well that, before enormous Capital Ships, those torpedo boats were no different from mosquitoes. But the Heavy Torpedoes they carried posed a lethal threat to these massive Capital Ships. Although Montana-class Battleships possessed extremely thick armor and excellent underwater torpedo protection, being struck by Heavy Torpedoes would still exact a terrible price.
"Order the outer destroyers and Light Cruisers to intercept those German torpedo boats at all costs! They must not be allowed to threaten us!" Admiral Husband Kimmel ordered through gritted teeth.
"Yes, General."
In fact, even without Admiral Husband Kimmel's order, the destroyers and Light Cruisers of the American fleet had already begun attacking. They too had spotted the rapidly approaching German torpedo boats.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The main and secondary guns of the Light Cruisers and destroyers fired madly. Dense shells fell like raindrops, smashing toward the German torpedo boats.
Shells exploded in the sea, throwing up towering columns of water. The torpedo boats were like little vessels caught in a storm, liable to be overturned by raging wind and waves at any moment.
However, these German torpedo boats were no ordinary
