"Boom! Boom!"

Two torpedoes struck the side of the Montana-class Battleship in quick succession. Their warheads detonated violently, their immense force tearing at the Montana-class Battleship's underwater armor. Even though its underwater armor was more than five hundred millimeters thick, it still could not withstand the blasts and was ripped open. Though the breach was not large, sealing it would not be easy.

Immediately afterward, two heavy aerial armor-piercing shells struck the Montana-class Battleship. Explosions rang out across the warship, flames shot into the sky, and thick smoke billowed.

"God! The Montana-class Battleships are our most powerful Battleships, yet they still can't hold on under the German carrier-based aircraft's Encirclement Offensive! If this continues, they'll still be sunk!" a staff officer cried out.

Admiral Ernest King's expression was exceedingly grim. After losing all its aircraft carriers, the American Navy was now beginning to lose its Capital Ships as well. And the ships being lost were formidable Capital Ships like the Montana-class Battleships.

"Damn it, shoot down those German carrier-based aircraft!" Admiral Ernest King gritted out.

Although the American anti-aircraft fire had done its utmost and achieved some results, shooting down a number of German Navy carrier-based aircraft, it was nothing compared to the results achieved by the German Navy's carrier-based aircraft.

The American Navy's three remaining Montana-class Battleships had all been severely damaged. As aerial bombs and aerial torpedoes continued to strike the three warships, their wounds piled upon wounds. At this rate, those enormous Battleships, each displacing more than seventy thousand tons, would soon sink into the frigid Atlantic Ocean.

The first to sink was the Maine Battleship. This Battleship had been hit by thirty aerial bombs, and its entire hull had been blasted to pieces. Its waterline armor on both sides had also taken eighteen heavy aerial torpedoes.
