"German aircraft incoming! All anti-aircraft positions, prepare for battle!"
After the air-search Radar detected a large incoming German military formation, the order to prepare for battle was issued.
Countless US anti-aircraft troops rushed to their respective positions. Anti-aircraft Guns and anti-aircraft machine guns were all aimed at the sky.
By this point in the war, the US Army Air Corps had suffered grievous losses and could no longer continue fighting. The remaining aircraft could only be used at critical moments. This led the US to deploy large numbers of Anti-aircraft Guns and anti-aircraft machine guns in Washington, hoping to use powerful air-defense firepower to resist the German Air Force and avoid suffering heavy losses under the German Air Force's fierce bombing.
"Fire!"
At the command of the front-line officers, US air-defense firepower began firing.
"Boom boom boom! Rat-a-tat-tat!"
Countless Anti-aircraft Guns and anti-aircraft machine guns opened fire. Dense anti-aircraft shells exploded in the air, leaving clusters of black smoke behind. The tracer rounds fired by the anti-aircraft machine guns were highly conspicuous even in broad daylight.
Relying on these Anti-aircraft Guns and anti-aircraft machine guns, the US anti-aircraft troops formed dense air-defense firepower in the sky. Yet the German Air Force fighter planes boldly weaved through the dense US anti-aircraft fire.
"Rat-a-tat-tat!"
A TA-152 fighter swept over a US anti-aircraft position and strafed it with its machine guns. Many US anti-aircraft troops were torn to pieces by the aircraft-mounted machine-gun bullets.
Bullets and shells chased after the TA-152 fighter, but it nimbly evaded them.
German military fighter formations and Dive Bomber formations began attacking the US anti-aircraft positions, suppressing them and preparing the way for the bombers behind them to drop their payloads.
"Whoosh!"
Accompanied by a shrill, ear-piercing howl, a German military Dive Bomber dropped a heavy Aerial Bomb
