After dealing with the United States, Germany no longer had any enemies in the Atlantic direction. However, Germany and its puppet states had occupied vast tracts of land in the United States, and quite a few Americans were resisting the rule of Germany and its puppet states. This forced Germany to temporarily keep large numbers of troops stationed within the United States. Even so, in order to defeat the Island Nation before Christmas, Germany still dispatched massive reinforcements to the Far East. In particular, most of the newly formed army corps, units that had not yet had the chance to take the battlefield, were sent to the Far East.

Nearly half of the units subsequently formed by the German Army consisted of soldiers who had retired over the years and were recalled to service. Of the rest, some were core personnel transferred from the main forces. Only the remainder were entirely made up of new recruits. Though the soldiers recalled after retirement had declined somewhat physically from their previous peak, equipped with superb weapons and gear, they still possessed formidable combat strength. Even against elite units of the Island Nation's Army, they might not necessarily come off worse. As for the Island Nation Army's fanatical fighting spirit, it could likewise be resisted through overwhelming combat strength. Once they had been tempered by the fires of war, these newly formed German units would likewise become world-class elite forces.
