Joseph, Buru's special envoy, returned home brimming with joy. His trip to Germany had been a complete success. Not only had he found a way to save the comrades in the German-occupied regions of the Eastern European Plain, but he had also secured enormous support from Germany. More importantly, Germany was willing to help Buru build a batch of Battleships at favorable prices, giving Joseph an opportunity to extend his hand into the military.
Joseph believed he had carried out this mission exceptionally well. He was certain that upon returning to Buru, he would receive Ulyanov's praise. That would allow him to gain the upper hand in his rivalry with Trotsky. Perhaps he might even persuade Ulyanov to establish him as his successor.
Leaving Joseph's aspirations aside, after the Buru delegation departed, the German Empire convened an Imperial Council. Its most important agenda was precisely a series of arrangements concerning Buru.
"Your Majesty, Buru's envoy left with a smile plastered across his face. I imagine he obtained what they wanted from the Empire and was exceedingly satisfied!" Imperial Prime Minister Bülow said with a smile.
Although, judging from the series of agreements the Empire had reached with Buru's envoy, the Empire had spared no effort in assisting Buru, Germany's senior ministers were no fools. Naturally, they could see Oscar's scheme behind it all.
Oscar nodded with a smile. "For the Empire to maintain its Hegemonic Status, it must first dominate Europe. Across all of Europe, no powerful nation besides the Empire can be permitted to emerge. Otherwise, it will pose a grave threat to the Empire's security. Therefore, whether it is the Austro-Hungarian Empire or Buru, both are enemies we must eliminate."
Oscar paused, then continued, "There is no need to speak of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. We are already drawing
