"Target spotted. Fire warning shots!" After the German Navy's U-113 submarine caught up with the British merchant ship, the Submarine Captain followed the planned procedure and began preparing to force the British vessel to surrender.

By convention, once shells exploded around a British merchant ship, the British sailors aboard would be scared witless, pissing themselves in terror. Then they would have no choice but to obey the German submarine's orders. So long as a few soldiers boarded and took control of the merchant ship's vital compartments, they could sail it to rendezvous with the German Navy's Commerce Raiding Fleet. The Commerce Raiding Fleet would then escort the British merchant ship back to the German homeland.

Boom! Boom! Two shells exploded beside the British merchant ship. The blasts startled every British Navy officer and sailor aboard.

"Damn it, where did those shells come from?" Captain Schmidt shouted.

"Sir, German submarines! Two kilometers away!" a British Navy sailor reported.

"German submarines? Ha ha, God bless us, they've finally come. Tell everyone to keep their heads. Without my order, no one is to open fire under any circumstances!" Captain Schmidt ordered. He was afraid that the other naval soldiers might fire too early out of nervousness and scare the German submarines away. Once they detected danger, submarines would certainly make an emergency dive. With the performance of their merchant ship, they simply could not find submarines hiding underwater. Worse still, it would expose their plan, and they would never get another chance like this.

"Sir, the Germans are signaling for us to stop immediately," a sailor reported to Captain Schmidt.

"Do as the Germans say! The rest of you, get ready. The moment you hear my order, pull off the canvas and open fire. This time, we must finish off the German submarines."
