Lin Feng felt a little embarrassed by what Yun Yun had said. He had indeed used her as a shield, relying on her to hold off the Amethyst Winged Lion King so that he could successfully enter the Plundered Cave.

Seeing the reproachful look in Yun Yun's eyes, Lin Feng could only pretend not to notice and said calmly, "Well, I didn't think that much about it at the time. Besides, aren't you fine now?"

The entire cave immediately brightened considerably. The Purple Spirit Crystal radiated energy, and even the temperature inside the cave seemed to rise faintly.

Lin Feng reached out and patted Yun Yun's Fragrant Shoulder. The touch felt wonderful. Yun Yun turned around, and when she saw the exquisitely beautiful Purple Spirit Crystal shining with violet light, her beautiful eyes suddenly lit up.

"You even took this out."

There was a trace of delight in her voice.

Lin Feng handed it to her. "Consider it payment for drawing away the Amethyst Winged Lion King."

Lin Feng turned and went back to sit down, leaning against the stone wall as he closed his eyes to rest. Holding the Purple Spirit Crystal, Yun Yun could feel the powerful energy contained within it. She looked up at Lin Feng again, a smile bright enough to dim the stars appearing on her lips. "Thank you."

Lin Feng did not answer, merely saying, "Don't disturb my rest."

At that, Yun Yun chuckled softly, put away the Purple Spirit Crystal, and obediently lay down to rest as well. Lying on her side, her perfect curves were outlined once again. Her beautiful eyes watched Lin Feng, though no one knew what she was thinking.

The night passed silently, and the morning sun spread across the earth.

Yet this beautiful morning was shattered by a deafening lion's roar from the horizon. Lin Feng and Yun Yun, inside the cave, jolted awake.

"It's the Amethyst Winged Lion King."

Lin Feng and Yun Yun exchanged a glance. With his powerful soul force, Lin Feng could sense that it was rapidly approaching.

"What's going on? How did it find this place?"

The two looked at each other, and Lin Feng suddenly rushed out of the cave. The ground outside was soaked, as though the land had been washed clean. Magical beasts circled all around the area.

Lin Feng hurried back inside. Yun Yun asked, "What happened?"

Lin Feng's expression was grim. "It rained. The medicine powder I scattered was washed away, and those magical beasts discovered this place."

"Roar!"

"Human, come out! Today, this king will tear you to pieces!"

The Amethyst Winged Lion King's voice rang out, shaking the heavens and earth around them, followed by countless beastly roars.

Yun Yun's expression changed. She looked at Lin Feng and was about to step out, but Lin Feng grabbed her hand. "Your strength hasn't recovered yet. Going out there would be suicide. Leave it to me."

"But..."

Before Yun Yun could finish, Lin Feng strode out, leaving behind only one sentence: "If you want to live, stay here."

Standing where she was, Yun Yun watched Lin Feng disappear from the cave. Her jade-like hand waved aimlessly before her, then she stomped her foot and said in annoyance, "He yelled at me again."

From the cave entrance, she could see what was happening outside.

Magical beasts surrounded the area outside, while the Amethyst Winged Lion King's enormous body hovered in the sky. Facing it, Lin Feng was actually standing in midair in confrontation. Behind him was a pair of wings flickering with lightning.

Yun Yun was startled. "This guy actually has such a rare Flight Dou Skill!"

The Amethyst Winged Lion King fixed Lin Feng with its beastly eyes, killing intent gathering within them as it spoke coldly. "Kid, you were the one who snuck into my cave that day, weren't you?"

It then looked toward the cave. With its abilities, it had naturally detected Yun Yun's presence as well. "That woman's seal hasn't been completely undone yet, has it? Today, both of you will die here."

Dou Qi circulated through Lin Feng's body as he spoke slowly. "Who lives and who dies is still uncertain."

"Roar!"

A violet pillar of fire two or three zhang thick shot into the sky and crashed toward Lin Feng with terrifying force.

Yun Yun's heart tightened with worry. "Be careful."

Having sensed danger, the Amethyst Winged Lion King beat its wings. Purple light burst from its body as purple flames swept forth with overwhelming might, transforming into an incomparably massive flaming lion head that lunged to devour Lin Feng.

"Phew."

Lin Feng exhaled a breath of stale air. Chaos Flame protected his body as he bent slightly, black flames blazing fiercely. Lin Feng swung directly, and the black flames collided with the Amethyst Winged Lion King's attack.
