Even though the Inner World had such thoughts, it had never put them into practice.

Across the myriad heavens, the Outer and Inner Worlds might have had forces of comparable strength, but because the Inner World was unified and transparent to the extreme, its various factions had few reservations and could collectively point their spearheads at the Outer World.

For this very reason, the Outer World was completely at a disadvantage against the Inner World.

It had even allowed the Inner World to completely seize the right to absorb the thoughts scattered by those beings upon their destruction.

As for the Inner World, it would never allow those beings of the Outer World to contend with it. Thus, once those beings of the Outer World were destroyed, they would now merge into the Inner World.

As for the Outer World, it was too dark and lacked unity, so it had never gone to the Inner World to receive them.

Because of this, the Inner World's power increasingly surpassed that of the Outer World. Yet at the same time, the Outer World brought the Inner World a local specialty—its chaos.

This allowed the beings within the Inner World to glimpse freedom. They came to believe that they did not need to be bound by endless rules and regulations, that they too could live brilliantly.

There was simply no need to live by rules—not when even the number of words one spoke each day and the number of steps one took had to be counted, never to be exceeded.

Under the surging tide of this freedom, the Inner World fell into chaos for a time.
