Yazdani left without looking back. He was hurrying slowly, as if he had discovered a treasure map and was eager to verify its authenticity.

Looking at his appearance, Balgava smiled, picked up the coffee in his hand and took a sip.

Well, it's time for scholars in other fields to experience what genius is.

The performance of Yazdani also happens to scholars in other related fields.

As the paper Xiao Yi spread, everyone, whether they were researching materials or studying Condensed Matter Physics, started to get excited.

This paper is obviously a big deal for scholars in both fields.

As long as this Absolute Electronic Computation model is feasible, it is meaningful for Materials science community to study various new materials, and can even guide the research of new material synthesis methods; and for Condensed Matter Physics scientists, it can not only help research superconductors, but also it is very helpful for revealing some hidden mechanisms in Condensed Matter Physics, etc.

Ever since, almost more than 50% of scholars in these two fields have begun to study this new model.

Some scholars may be working on a very important topic and are willing to allocate time to study it. Some scholars even suspend their own topics and devote all their energy to it.

And there are more scholars who directly set up the topic with Absolute Electronic Computation, ready to try their hand at it.

Then, good news began to spread frequently.

[We are the ETH Zurich material department. We mainly tested Copper Oxide High-Temperature Superconductor La2-xSrxCuO4 (LSCO), mainly using AEC to calculate Electronic Band Structure, density of states and Fermi Surface characteristics.

The final result is that AEC predicts the Superconducting Transition Temperature and superconducting energy gap of LSCO at different doping concentrations. Calculation results show that when the doping concentration x=0.15, T_c reaches 35K and the superconducting energy gap is 15 meV. Experimental measurements show that when x=0.15, the actual T_c of LSCO is about 36K and the energy gap is about 14 meV. The deviations between AEC predictions and experimental results are within 5%.

When this result came out, our entire laboratory was shocked. We had never seen such an accurate computational material model.]

[We are Princeton University Center for Complex Materials Laboratory. We focus on Topological Insulator Bi2Se3, focusing on its Surface State and spin-orbit coupling effects.

AEC predicts that Electronic Band Gap of Bi2Se3 is 0.35 eV, Surface State forms Dirac Cone at Fermi Level, and Spin Splitting Energy is 0.2eV; while experimental measurement results show that the actual band gap of Bi2Se3 is 0.34 eV, Spin Splitting Energy of Surface State is 0.19 eV, and the deviation between the AEC prediction results and the experimental data is within 3%.

Now our laboratory has decided that wherever Computational Materials Science can be used in the future, as long as AEC can be used, AEC will be used. We have even planned to purchase a batch of servers. Although AEC does not have high requirements for computing resources, we feel that we will use it every day to make predictions.]

[...Iron-Based High-Temperature Superconductor FeSe... The deviation between experimental data and calculation results is within 3%...]

[Heavy Fermion Compound CeCoIn5... can show obvious Kondo Resonance State characteristics at low temperatures, with the experimental deviation within 5%...]

Various experimental reports have been published, and the materials involved in each experimental report are quite complex. Almost all of them can be regarded as the most cutting-edge materials in contemporary Materials Science research, such as superconductors, Topological Insulator, Heavy Fermion Compound, etc.

It is precisely because of this that Absolute Electronic Computation brings enough confidence to more and more Materials Science users.

Even studying so many complex materials can provide such powerful accuracy, so if you use it to study relatively simple materials, wouldn't it be a direct kill?

The whole Scientific Community is becoming more and more lively.

UC Berkeley.

When Professor Paul Alivisatos stepped into his classroom, the classroom was already full of students.

As a strong competitor of Nobel Prize in Chemistry, his research in the fields of Materials Science and Nanotechnology has always had a profound impact. Because of this, he can hold the position of Executive Vice Chancellor and provost at the Berkeley branch. In fact, a few years ago, he also served as the director of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

In addition, it is expected that after September this year, he will go to University of Chicago to serve as the principal.

Probably because of these achievements and status, there is never a shortage of students attending each of his classes.

But what made him a little confused was that when he walked into the classroom, he saw that his students seemed to be discussing something.

"Ahem." He said, "Children, what are you discussing?"

The students turned around and noticed that their professor had entered the classroom.

However, as a student of Berkeley, it is obvious that there is no shortage of those who are more positive.

Soon someone stood up and asked, "Professor, what we are discussing is the recent paper, Absolute Electronic Computation. Now many people think that this method will have a very profound impact on our Materials Science. We want to know what you think?"

Hearing this question, Paul Alivisatos was startled, and then smiled happily, "I'm glad to hear that you have begun to pay attention to the cutting-edge results of Materials science community."

"This shows me that you are indeed very interested in Materials Science."

"Of course before answering your question, what I want to ask is what do you think?"

After hesitating for a moment, the student said, "I think it can indeed provide a lot of help for the research of Materials Science. After all, quite a few laboratories have expressed their optimism about this method."

"Are there any other opinions?" Paul Alivisatos glanced at the other students.

Soon another student stood up. "Professor, I don't think this method can bring much effect. It may be somewhat useful, but it will not be of decisive help. Just like what you once taught us, Materials Science is an experimental subject. How can something simulated by a computer replace the role of experiment? What's more, its author is only a mathematician, not a Materials Science expert."

Listening to the different opinions, Paul Alivisatos smiled, and then said, "Very good, what you all said makes sense, so let's listen to my point of view."

"First of all, let's talk about the conclusion. I think Absolute Electronic Computation is indeed a disruptive new thing for Materials Science."

"What is subversive? It is that it may change our experimental habits in the future. Perhaps before long, every laboratory research team will habitually use this method to help experiments when conducting research."

"On this point, John, you are not wrong." He glanced at the opposing student and said, "Materials Science is experimental science. This is an irrefutable fact. Materials calculated by computers can never become real, so Absolute Electronic Computation will not play a decisive role."

"However, as scientists, we must be good at using a variety of tools, and we must use those good tools even more."

"Obviously, Absolute Electronic Computation is such a good tool that can help our research achieve more and better results."

"Do you understand?"

Hearing what the professor said, the students present all nodded thoughtfully. "I understand, professor!"

"Very good."

Paul Alivisatos smiled and nodded.

But in the end, he looked at John and said, "Of course, John, I still want to express my objection to your last sentence just now."

"The author of Absolute Electronic Computation is Xiao Yi, a brilliant mathematical genius, the prover of Twin Prime Conjecture, you may have heard of it."

"He used mathematical methods in the paper to connect Path integral to the prediction of electron behavior, and also integrated another probability method called Markov Chain Monte Carlo technique into it. In addition, there are many advanced mathematical techniques reflected in it."

"These things can only be figured out if you are good at mathematics."

"So, don't underestimate mathematicians, especially talented mathematicians like Xiao Yi. Although the pure mathematics they study cannot help us, if they want to study some applied mathematics, it may bring about the current effect."

"Perhaps I should strengthen your mathematical ability training?"

The students below suddenly showed horrified expressions.

You really don't need something like mathematics!
