It could also be the tap water at home! Asuka wiped the water from his face, opened his eyes, and looked at Uzuki Yugao standing beside the bed, splashing cold water onto his face. Then, his gaze passed over her and fell on the sun outside the window.
The sun wasn't even up yet. Yu Yan was so diligent.
After getting dressed, he yawned as he walked over to the calendar and lowered his head to look over today's schedule.
"Morning: renovate the shop I secured, and disguise the tanuki while I'm at it, making it the mascot of the Uchiha Fried Chicken Shop."
"Afternoon: hold a clan meeting to discuss how Uchiha Fugaku nearly got himself killed on the battlefield."
Looking at the packed schedule, Asuka picked up his toothbrush cup and prepared to wash up.
"Teacher!"
Uzuki Yugao poked her head out from the kitchen. Looking at Asuka, who was brushing his teeth, she asked in confusion,
"You've been at home these past few days. Don't you need to go to the Anbu?"
"Nope!"
After spitting out the toothpaste foam, Asuka looked at himself in the mirror and said,
"Apparently, Third Hokage-sama's retirement life is terribly boring. He wants to hold a grandchild, so the captain went off to try for a baby.
"Besides, I just got back from a mission, so the captain gave me some leave and didn't assign me anything."
As he spoke, Asuka could not help but sigh.
Getting pregnant depended on luck. It wasn't like it would happen just because you wanted it to.
And with Shinnosuke still in the hospital, his leave would probably last at least a month.
