HR Director Du Yirong was about to leave when she heard the CEO instruct her, "Call the secretary in."

"Okay, I'll get her right away!"

Du Yirong turned and left the office. Only after closing the door did she cast a suspicious glance back inside.

She had always felt that President Xiao was acting a little strange today. In the past, President Xiao would definitely discuss the candidates on each résumé with her, make a preliminary judgment on who was more suitable, and then President Xiao would conduct another interview before they joined the company.

After Secretary Sun finished her introduction in one breath, Lu Xing pretended to nod approvingly and asked, "What do you think about expanding into industry?"

"Industry?"

Sun Ying thought carefully, then shook her head. "Industry isn't suitable for the company's development. The return on investment is too slow. Xiao Yu still did not reply. She had probably gone back to class.

A CEO in charge of tens of billions in assets had to waste her time sitting in a junior-year classroom. Lu Xing actually felt sorry for her!

9:25 a.m.

Secretary Sun came to remind him about the meeting. She turned to leave again, but Lu Xing hurriedly stopped her. "I'll go with you."

So he would not have to worry about not knowing where the meeting room was.

Sun Ying nodded slightly, picked up her phone, and sent a message in the management group: "Meeting. The CEO is heading to the meeting room."

He picked up his phone and saw that Xiao Yu had already sent instructions:

"Have Vice President Liu Yong and the finance director go to Haotian Technology to inspect their finances. They are to leave as soon as the meeting ends. I don't want to see anyone from that company until they find out what happened. They'll only make me angry."

Lu Xing cleared his throat and, under their watchful gazes, ordered, "Liu Yong, you and the finance director will investigate their financial situation. Go immediately after the meeting. Making a transfer required going through so many hoops, but Lu Xing had finally figured it out. He was supposed to use Xiao Yu's phone to transfer thirty thousand to his own account, but the money was not his. It was for Xiao Yu to use when she became him.
