"Qin Hao, the Center Master summons you!"
At ten o'clock, a man in a red robe came to the lounge and spoke to Qin Hao.
I'll finally get to meet Hong.
Qin Hao took a deep breath, rose to his feet, greeted Yang Hui and Inspector Wang, then followed the red-robed man down the corridor. Before long, they arrived outside an enormous room. After leading Qin Hao to the entrance, the man bowed slightly and departed.
"Qin Hao, come in." A cold voice came from inside.
"Yes." Hearing the voice, Qin Hao did not hesitate. He pushed open the door and entered. What met his eyes was an enormous study—or rather, an enormous library. Dozens of bookshelves stood neatly arranged throughout the room, every one of them filled with books.
With a quick glance, Qin Hao noticed that besides newly printed books, there were also quite a few ancient volumes.
At the end of the bookshelves was a simple meditation room. It was sparsely furnished, with a long table and two chairs. A black-haired man sat in one of them.
Though he was merely sitting there, Qin Hao could still sense a faint yet imposing pressure from him, as though he were the center of the entire world. However, Qin Hao quickly snapped out of its influence.
The man before him was Hong—the strongest person in the world, the Chief Center Master of the Limitless Martial Arts Center, and a future True God-level powerhouse.
As Qin Hao observed Hong, Hong shifted his attention away from his book and glanced at Qin Hao.
"Sit."
His voice was indifferent, yet full of authority. Qin Hao quickly walked over and sat across from Hong. He had great respect for Hong, though not to the point of worship.
"Not bad. You're not far from becoming an Intermediate War God. In your first month at the Elite Training Camp, you surpassed a host of veteran trainees. Since the Great Nirvana, you are the most gifted person I have seen. I summoned you this time for two reasons: first, to meet you; second, to discuss your future training plan." Hong paused.
Hearing Hong's words, Qin Hao could not help focusing intently. He had always been clear about the path ahead: increase his strength, break through to Planetary level, Star level, comprehend a domain, then Law. Right now, the most important thing was breaking through to Planetary level.
"The Elite Training Camp was not established to train War Gods, but powerhouses Beyond War God. I originally summoned you because I intended to take you as my disciple, but I have just abandoned that decision. I believe you already have a clear path in mind. You may make three requests, and the martial arts center will do its best to fulfill them. Your task is to quickly break through to Beyond War God." After some thought, Hong spoke to Qin Hao.
At first, Hong had intended to accept Qin Hao as a disciple. On one hand, Qin Hao's talent had drawn his attention; on the other, he feared Qin Hao might take the wrong path. But after meeting him, Hong saw far more calmness, resolve, and confidence in Qin Hao's eyes.
After hearing Hong's words, Qin Hao fell into thought. If Hong had directly laid out an arrangement, he would only have needed to accept it. But now that he was being asked to state his own conditions, he did not know what to request. Although Hong said he could make three requests, there would certainly be limits. If he asked for too much, even if Hong agreed, his impression of Qin Hao would worsen.
I don't need too many resources in the short term. What I need more is guidance, a training environment, knowledge, and accumulated experience. Qin Hao continued calculating in his mind, and gradually came to a decision.
"What is it? Have you decided? There's no need to rush. You have plenty of time to think it through carefully. This concerns your growth over the next few years." Seeing the change in Qin Hao's expression, Hong spoke.
"Center Master, I've decided. I want access to all the books here, permission to train in the Gravity Chamber, and your cultivation insights." Qin Hao stated his requests one by one. Originally, he had wanted Hong's personal guidance.
However, as the Chief Center Master of the Limitless Martial Arts Center, Hong's time was extremely limited. It would be impossible for Qin Hao to seek his instruction whenever he wished. In contrast, the books in this entire study and Hong's cultivation experience would be more useful for Qin Hao's future path and the creation of his own cultivation technique.
In particular, Hong's experience in breaking through to Planetary level and comprehending a domain was even more precious to Qin Hao. However, whether Hong would be willing to share it remained unknown. Still, having some hope was better than having none at all.
"Granted." Hong agreed immediately.
"Grant Qin Hao access to the study, the Gravity Chamber, and headquarters entry privileges," Hong said loudly. As soon as he finished speaking, a blue light swept over Qin Hao's entire body.
"Yes, Master. Access privileges have been activated." An electronic voice then sounded.
"You may consult every book here, but you may not take them outside. My cultivation experience is also all contained within this study, and you may consult it as well. However, you are still an Elite Training Camp trainee, so your necessary hunting expeditions cannot stop." After saying this, Hong stood up directly.
"You may begin consulting the books here today." With that, Hong left the study.
Watching Hong leave, Qin Hao could not help letting out a breath.
Facing the strongest person in the world, Qin Hao had appeared composed on the surface, but inwardly, he was still somewhat excited. After taking a moment to settle himself, he stood up and began carefully examining the books in the study. Dozens of bookshelves held countless books covering every field.
As he passed each bookshelf, he found everything from various Martial Arts Manuals to ancient philosophy, modern philosophy, and even many books on modern physics, chemistry, mathematics, and other subjects. Quite a few of the ancient books were unique copies that Qin Hao had never even heard of.
Although he had studied ancient culture and philosophy from a young age in this life, the scope of his studies had been very limited. After all, many ancient books had not survived the Great Nirvana. Furthermore, a large portion of them had originally circulated only within small circles.
Now, he could consult all of these books freely. For Qin Hao's state of mind, which had remained unchanged for a long time, this provided a new direction for improvement.
After getting a general sense of the books in the study, Qin Hao began reconsidering how to allocate his time going forward. His hunting expeditions could not stop, and with training in the Gravity Chamber and reading these books, his time would become even tighter.
In the end, Qin Hao found Hong's cultivation notes and began reading. Hong's cultivation experience was recorded in great detail, from his practice of Internal Martial Arts before the Great Nirvana, to his cultivation during the Great Nirvana, the creation of World Ending, the cultivation of every realm, and even his experiences with breaking through to Planetary level and comprehending a domain.
When Qin Hao saw the information toward the end, he became excited. However, he only skimmed through that portion.
You have to eat one bite at a time, and cultivation must be taken one step at a time. Qin Hao suppressed his urge to study it in detail.
