Hidden Base

Within Huangshan, Qin Hao moved continuously through the mountain forest, carefully concealing himself as he advanced while keeping a distant eye on the monsters flying swiftly through the air.

As he continued onward, Qin Hao sensed that something was different. The surroundings had grown even quieter. This was highly abnormal in the wilderness; even at night, there should have been quite a few nocturnal monsters about.

Yet after advancing several kilometers, the area remained eerily silent. The flying monsters in the distance entered a mountain peak and vanished from sight.

"Looks like this is the place."

Qin Hao became even more cautious. He constantly observed his surroundings as he advanced, moving through the shadows cast by the trees.

"Something's happening." When Qin Hao reached the foot of the mountain, five figures dressed in black appeared not far away. The five formed a formation that appeared loose on the surface, yet they watched over one another. They could both observe the surrounding situation and respond to dangers that might arise at any time.

Qin Hao followed the five-man squad as they continued up the mountain, soon arriving at the location of a Natural Cave.

After more than ten minutes of slaughter, Qin Hao had wiped out hundreds of monsters. The plaza had become a Killing Field. After clearing out the monsters, Qin Hao continued onward through the passage at the other end of the plaza.

After entering the passage, the surroundings began to change. Qin Hao seemed to have entered a massive laboratory. Laboratories lined both sides of the path, each containing enormous Cultivation Rooms. Through the glass, he could see all manner of strange monsters inside them.

Clearly, the monsters Qin Hao had just encountered were products of these laboratories. As he continued onward, some monsters still appeared in the passage. Qin Hao did not pause in the slightest. After dealing with them, he pressed forward at high speed.

As he gradually entered the depths of the base, the experiments in the surrounding laboratories shifted from various monsters to numerous human experiments. However, everything now seemed cold and chaotic. Clearly, people had been here not long ago, but they had already withdrawn.
