Nature and Evolution
- The Original Universe manifests the Ten Great Laws, though the Time and Space Laws are difficult to perceive. Qin Hao regards it as a reference for studying Life Origin and the evolution of miniature universes 522 680.
- Its evolution creates life and develops Laws before ending in destruction and another cycle of gestation 991 1037.
- Beings born within it retain a connection to it even after becoming True Gods. Qin Hao describes its destruction as a threat to those who depend on it, unless they can survive elsewhere 507.
Rules and Authority
Limits on power
- Within the Original Universe, sixth-order Universe Lord strength is the normal upper limit; power exceeding it is suppressed 360 637.
- Its restrictions affect cultivation and combat. On entering the Sea of Universes, Qin Hao's clones experience a weakening of that suppression 383.
- The Original Universe bestows instinctive control over space-time upon Universe Lords. They can use it to reverse time and resurrect the dead, though Qin Hao finds deeper applications in studying its Laws 326 378.
Original Universe Will
- The Will normally leaves events—including wars between races—alone unless they endanger the Original Universe or violate its rules 508.
- It acts through the Ancestral God Cult's Three Ancestral Gods, who receive its orders and summon its presence in the Ancestral God Hall 360 508 530.
- It can directly restrain powerful beings: Law-filled chains reduce Meng Yao Ancestor's displayed power to sixth-order Universe Lord level 348.
- Its power is formidable even to Qin Hao after he achieves Will Manifesting as Saint 530.
History
The Original Universe Will suppresses Original Ancestor after his attempt to seize it, confining him within its Origin Land for countless ages. His miniature universe, the Initial Universe, continues evolving slowly during that confinement 292 381 528.
The Will takes an unusual interest in Qin Hao. It grants him Cosmic Creation, an inheritance describing a method of creating a universe and part of the Original Universe's birth; later, it orders the Three Ancestral Gods to welcome him home from the Sea of Universes 291 508.
After Qin Hao negotiates for Original Ancestor's release, the Will agrees and expels him from the Origin Land. The Initial Universe's evolution then accelerates 807 808. The Will subsequently examines Luo Feng during a major Gene Level transformation and withdraws when it is complete 834.
As the Original Universe approaches destruction, Humanity relocates out of it. Luo Feng, Original Ancestor, and other experts observe its destruction as an opportunity to study the origins, Laws, and Great Daos revealed during the process 1043 1083.
