The fourth day...
Araki revised Kyoraku, Ukitake, and Tokinada's training once again. This time, he drilled their hand-to-hand combat and taught them the half-finished "Araki Six Powers" he had developed. Simply put, the three of them were Araki's experimental guinea pigs.
"'Soru,' 'Tekkai,' and 'Geppo' are all fine..."
"But what the hell are 'Rankyaku,' 'Shigan,' and 'Kami-e'?!"
Kyoraku was utterly bewildered. He could understand Soru, a technique that worked with Shunpo to make it faster. He also understood Tekkai, which hardened the body by coating its surface with spirit particles. He could even grasp Geppo, which involved releasing spirit particles from the toes or kicking the air at incredible speed to fly into the sky...
But what the hell was this ability to release slashes with his legs, fire spirit particles from his fingers, and make his body as flexible as paper to evade attacks?!
"Shigan can be combined with Byakurai! You can also broaden your thinking. You aren't limited to attacking with your fingers. Your toes, your fists—any part of your body can become the point from which you launch an attack. The key is catching your opponent off guard..."
At that moment, Araki taught the three of them a new technique he had developed by combining his abilities with Onigashima.
"Imagine you're clashing blades with someone. Before they realize what's happening, you raise your other hand and blast them in the face. Or when you're kicking, you combine it with wind-type Kidō and tear open their stomach..."
"Remember, combat is about using every means available. No matter how 'dirty' the method, as long as you win, it's a good one..."
After successfully recreating Shigan and Rankyaku through Kidō, Araki had gone even further. Depending on the Kidō applied to his feet or fingers, he could unleash attacks with
