Thirteen sat on the ground. He glanced at the dark Magic Restricting Collar around his neck, and a trace of dimness surfaced in his lifeless eyes.
Was it a dream? What a wonderful dream! Footsteps echoed closer.
Someone entered the dungeon.
"Thirteen, it's time. You're up."
The man opened the cell door and spoke flatly. He was Benson, the dungeon overseer, and also the one responsible for leading slaves into the arena.
Thirteen gave no reply. He simply rose silently and walked out of the cell.
What an enormous, mighty body!
Could a human really possess such a physique?
Even though it was not his first time seeing it, Benson was still awestruck by the giant man's tower-like frame and muscles hard as bronze and iron.
What a pity he was a slave. Benson lamented inwardly.
"Let's go. Your opponent today is an Earth Bear. Remember to drag it out a little. Last time, you turned that Black Abyss Wolf into pulp with just two punches. The audience was furious and demanded refunds."
As Benson moved through the gloomy dungeon corridors, he instructed the giant behind him.
The giant remained silent, and Benson had long grown used to it.

At that moment, the giant suddenly stopped and used a thick finger to scrape several crooked characters into the wall.
"It means Stars and Fire."
Though puzzled, Benson answered instinctively.
If any other slave dared interrupt him, he might have whipped them to teach them a lesson.
But the giant before him was one of the most valuable properties here. As a mere overseer, Benson did not have the authority to damage him at will.
