Yet at this moment, even the Bru Fiends, publicly acknowledged to possess the keenest sense of smell, could not tell from the scent whether the meat soup Tang Qi held in the Earthen Pot, cooked at a terrifying speed, actually tasted good.
All they felt was a dry mouth, an empty stomach, and an overwhelming urge to taste that meat soup.
"Boil Snow Mountain Water, add three Onion Sprites, the tuber of Mystic Fragrance Herb, chunks of Three-Eyed Argali Cub meat, then squeeze in Minotaur Fiend's Milk... A simple recipe like this can make such a delicious meat soup that smells this good?"
The chefs looked at Tang Qi with both thirst and suspicion.
One of them immediately reacted.
It was once again Menu Announcer from Sweetwater City. Looking as though he had lost his soul, the young man tossed aside his cleaver and walked toward Tang Qi.
As he approached, he subconsciously wiped his drool and muttered, "This scent is too wonderful. I really want to drink it. Let me have a taste, just one sip..."
Ordinarily, everyone present was competing against one another. The "works" brought for the competition ought to have been guarded closely, never offered to opponents for tasting, lest they glimpse the secrets of the recipe.
But that rule did not apply to Tang Qi.
Faced with the young man's request, Tang Qi actually agreed with a smile. Then the young man swiftly pulled out a huge bowl from behind his back and stared at Tang Qi eagerly, his drool nearly dripping into it.
