The abrupt sound came from a Curio tool Rose often used: a Mechanical Abnormality Fax Machine from Yasha Star.
Amid the hissing burst of steam, pages of Mystical Item Paper were spat out, collected by the Mechanical Assistant, and neatly arranged on the table.
When Rose Madeline instinctively lowered her head and quickly spotted a familiar rune in one of the passages, the languid, alluring aura around her vanished in an instant, replaced by the solemn, focused bearing of a scholar.
The fax came from one of her partner organizations, the "Sixth Kind Contact Association," a Supernatural Organization focused on the field of "Foreign Realm Visitors." Its reputation was far inferior to that of the World Tree or the Ancient Mystery Vault, and it could not compare to organizations like the Behemoth Containment Foundation.
Yet in truth, it was a deeply established, permanently neutral organization.
Its members were all absolute Peace Lovers. To some extent, they also served as guardians of Origin Star, though neither ordinary people nor most supernatural beings knew of it.
Using special methods, they kept a close watch over Origin Star's barrier.
Any intruder would draw their attention, and they would adopt corresponding measures according to the invader's Threat Level.
Most of the time, they chose to notify the local authorities.
But for threats with excessively high Threat Levels, they also sought help from more powerful organizations.
In fact, incidents such as the Lord of Thorns Incident and the Knova Mad King Incident had been noticed by the Association immediately. Yet before they could act, those incidents had already been resolved.
However, they did not care about fame. They considered themselves one of Origin Star's many guardians.
The reason they had faxed this information now was because of instructions Rose Madeline had given them long ago.
