Just as Kakashi thought Yuu had recognized him and would surely let him go,

"Kakashi, you bastard! You actually dared to betray the village and become a spy for another village!"

Yuu shouted angrily.

"Yuu! I'm not a spy, I'm a Konoha ninja!"

It would be far too humiliating if Yuu killed him as a spy!

"Who are you trying to fool?! You came to the Konoha Ninja Academy to capture me. If that doesn't make you a spy, what does? Take a good look—this is the Konoha Ninja Academy!"

Yuu pointed at the Ninja Academy's sign and spoke with a proud expression.

After thinking for a long while, Tanaka Shuichi finally came up with a phrase.

He couldn't exactly say Kakashi and the others had come to stop Yuu from getting drunk and slashing people.

"Is that so?"

Yuu blinked and looked doubtfully at Kakashi, who was pinned beneath his blade.
