Danzo tried to recruit Roshi and Han by promising them a chance to take revenge on Saiki Yuu, offering his Root forces and Wood Release as proof of his power. The two agreed to cooperate, but after Danzo left, they revealed they had no intention of fighting Yuu, whose name terrified even their tailed beasts.
